It really helps with my BDD too...though that has been significantly better since my lipo/breast evening out about a year ago.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

60 min power walking is fantastic for pink. Probably it's what most exercisers do.

I have 'disordered eating' but have never actually been anorexic, 'just' borderline with an unhealthy mental attitude towards eating. I also have full blown OCD. Long distance running (for me that's usually over an hour, minimum 1.25-5 hours 6 days a week; walking doesn't work as well for me personally but I am really a runner by nature) has a powerful therapeutic effect on both my OCD and my DE. The running empties my head, burns my anxiety and it makes me feel healthy/strong and want to nourish my body.
My two boys already tire me to the bone LOL. I cannot image adding more in but I get how it could help....

I'm sorry to hear about the ED and OCD. I totally get the distance running. The few months before my wedding I was running 10 miles a day (sometimes 15) and only eating two bowls of oats with almond milk. Let's just say it was NOT HEALTHY but I felt high almost enlightened being so hungry and clearing my head running that much. I understand why fasting is a religious thing for many....

Let's just say I could never be this extreme anymore. I just don't care that much and I'm too busy with my boys, husband and busy career....I have to eat and stay balanced to function.

BTW I'm sorry to hear about your DH. That must be so hard

I think the exercise being key is interesting. It's probably worth it. Does 'power walking' for 60 minutes count?
Haha feel free! I get all the money from the swaying side of things including Dream Memberships, I do help everyone regardless of ability to pay but if the spirit moves you, it does allow me to do this as my full time job instead of having to go to work.

YES YES walking 60 minutes still counts. If I had a time machine, I'd go back and call "intense" exercise just about anything except that, because people interpret "intense" as meaing exercise intensity, when I just meant daily exercise for 60 min. instead of moderate levels.

    hi Atomic,
quick question - for the 60 min exercise that has gotten great results: how far in advance is good? I think I read 6-8 weeks is sufficient or 12+ weeks? I'm trying for longer but with 2 boys its can be challenging. Hoping to run 12+ weeks along with vegetarian diet. How important it is to track calories if diet is vegetarian, rice, pasta, (mostly plant based) and staying away from the high calorie things such as avocado, nuts, etc and eating in moderation tofu and yogurt and things that add up the protein column.

IT's one of those things I honestly just don't know. I think that it largely depends on how much weight a person has to spare. Starting too soon you run the risk of wasting away to nothing.

I do think it's important to track for at least a few days because often people cut back wayyy too far, even when they don't realize how far they're cutting back. It often ends up to be more satisfying a diet than you think and you can eat more than you realize, when people don't track they often end up eating air and rice cakes.

Got it. Thanks! Also how far in advance should we exercise? 12+ weeks or 8 weeks? I'm going to try to exercise as much as I can... just wondering.

Again, we don't know and it has to do with how much weight a person has to spare.
