    Thanks Atomic!!

Ok sorry to bother you again but do you mind me asking why you don't agree with flaxseed anymore? Can you take all 3? I ask because I have some of each sitting around from last time lol may as well use it up or do you think it is best not to?

Eggs - I am now having an egg a day something I did not do last time =D

I have decided to drop the l'arg for me but let dh take the remainder.

    Thanks A! x

Yeah I thought I had remembered you didn't like eggs! It's funny the things that stick in my mind.

Somewhere within the last week there is a thread about flaxseed, does anyone remember what the title of it is?

Anyway, there are some chemicals in the flaxseed called lignans that may not be boy friendly and since EPO and fish oil do the same thing without the lignans, it's best to stick with them.

Kinda the same deal as with soy - the phytoestrogens might interfere with your body's own natural estrogen.

I do think EPO is boy friendly as long as you're also taking the fish oil with it. By itself, I am not sure I do think it's boy friendly, because you need BOTH the Omega 6's in the EPO and the Omega 3's in the fish oil for optimum health and Omega 6 by itself may be actually harmful to your health in the long term. This is an area of research that is new and not enough is known about it, but that is just what my gut tells me. EPO + fish oil = good.

Do you recommend taking the EPO all the time, or just AF-O? I have been taking it the whole month. (with fish oil).

Oh no, love eggs, just not nuts. Although do love peanuts and have been having oat satchets for brekkie with have little pieces of dates and tiny slivers of almond which I am now enjoying so maybe I am becoming slowely aquired to nuts :P

I think it's ok to take until you get a BFP and then you will prob. want to wean yourself off of it while continuing the fish oil or switching to a DHA supp if you like. Some people have switched from EPO to flaxseed + fish oil for pregnancy and this is believed safe although I feel weird about the flaxseed supps and the lignans during pg because it feels like a big unknown. The reason for this is because EPO can cause uterine contractions...I happen to believe that this is not something to be terribly concerned with the first week or two of pg and that should give you ample time to wean yourself off the EPO if you get a BFP.
