So your cycles are a bit on the long side (longer than 35 days is considered 'too long') so I do truly think you need a little Clomid/Femara, though this current cycle may just be a one off due to you having started swaying. OR your cycles could be more irregular than you realised. I hope you can get an appt soon and that it is productive!
Sometimes with thin PCOS bloodwork can be normal but there are other symptoms like long/irregular cycles, short LP, cysts on ovaries etc. And many OBGYNs won't think to check for PCOS with thin gals. But an RE/FS should, so I'm really glad you'll be seeing a specialist.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1
- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Fx for you! BD again 4 days later just in case you O later. It's impossible to predict when you will O in advance; you can have an LH surge and fail to O. All bloodwork/OPKs can tell you is that you MIGHT O soon. Given your cycles as of late, I would cover your bases. You might even consider BDing E4D from now until whenever you get AF or a BFP. That way you for sure won't miss O.

Would that be Thursday of its Monday here in AU or Friday? Do you think it's likely that if I do ovulate my periods might show early rather than 14 days after? That won't leave very much time for implantation of that does happen??

I love these threads where I show up and I don't even have to do anything LOL. (thanks maiden)
Your cycles are fairly regular but yeah I'd still try to parlay that into Clomid. Don't mention the Vitex to them!!! Questions??

If you last BdEd on Monday, you would BD again on Thursday. You CAN wait a day longer but I wouldn't at this point.
It doesn't matter how late you O, the time it takes for AF to come after will stay roughly the same. If your LP is usually 14 days it should be 14 days this cycle too.
Those particular strip OPKs are very inaccurate and unreliable; they give tons of false positives. Can you get some ClearBlue Digital OPKs (NOT the Advanced dual hormone ones) or some Ovuplan strips?Last edited by maidentomother; April 5th, 2016 at 04:12 AM.

yes exactly that's what I meant to say - if it isn't ready to come it won't come, but if it is and is just hanging on for a day or two then the hot bath, spicy food, sex with female O can't hurt anything.
