If shake is non-fortified then yes it's fine. I will mention that peas and brown rice both do have some components that may be unfriendly to fertility (the humble pea has even been investigated as a source of birth control pill) but I don't know that you should give it up on that basis alone since you need the protein.

Great that the doctor is checking for MTHFR! We have a lot of gals who have to fight tooth and nail for that.

if the docs say ok, I agree. Many tolerate them just fine so if you're having no ill effects then carry on.

I want you to stay on the supplements that are necessary for your health and wellbeing. I just don't want people taking them for SWAYING. You need them and even a short time could potentially harm your bone mass so I'd carry on with those.

I honestly think that all your food choices are great. Many of those things are exactly what I recommend for ALL swayers and the ones that are more borderline are all right what I recommend for those with PCOS or thyroid issues. I would LOVE to see the gals on this site eating more like you. Vegan diets, while not a magic bullet of course, have been shown both in our experience (with several ladies getting girls after failed sways by going vegan) and in scientific studies, to sway pink. Since we do not yet even know that you are "set" for boys, I hesitate to start changing everything up since what you're doing is working for you in terms of health and sustainability (especially given that your husband is also a vegan!) I know it feels counterintutive but to TTC a girl it is best to not go overboard turning your life upside down and inside out and I fear (greatly) that you could end up undermining what very may well be a great pink sway that is already happening for you by making changes that are not even necessary.

Being overweight doesn't change pH. WE are finding that pH testing is not giving us any useful info anyway and most of us on here have at least one pH opposite. If pH sways it's not something we can really check for by looking at a stick. I got a boy with pH of 4.5 and I know about 300 other people who got pH opposites too - it just wasn't helping. If you do want to test pH be sure it's only CM and not saliva or urine and it's only right around ovulation that matters.

I am hesitant as to whether I think you should lose weight or not. Firstly it may be quite difficult for you to do given your health conditions and the meds you're on. And secondly because we honestly don't even KNOW that it's necessary for you to do so. You don't know if you're "set" in your lifestyle, to have boys or girls and I hate to make changes when they are not necessary. We see more girls conceived both to thin and overweight women with more boys in the middle, so I hate to fix what ain't broke, if that makes any sense. big girls, little girls, and baby girls (and boys!!)

The old school sway gurus would advise you to start drinking a different type of water like Perrier. I am unconvinced that water sways at all (if it did, we'd see many cities on municipal water systems with dramatically skewed gender ratios but we don't). I would probably ditch the lemon water because it's said to sway blue.

We are rarely using douching any more (I only use it for those who can't live without it.) If you decide to use it, just get a storebought vinegar and water and use it 4-6 hours before attempt. Don't do all the mixing and measuring recommended on the other site (altho I do have a set of much clearer directions if you DO want to go that route) because again, we find the more detail oriented and "control-freaky" we get over our sway, this sways blue WAYYYY more strongly than a slight difference in douche preparation ever could. Don't douche after BD, it cuts odds of conception too far.

Having a vegan husband is what we all dream of!! seriously! Vegan husband and Clomid is like home run - everyone wants to be you right now! Please don't get so hung up on your diet. It's really great. I think you are in a great position to TTC a girl but just don't overthink it and start running your brain on that mental hamster wheel looking to change things when you don't even know you need to. Some of us have 4-5-6 boys - WE need to change things! You very well may have conceived a girl with your diet and lifestyle just as it is without giving it a moment of thought or ever finding this site.

I usually have a protein shake or occasionally oatmeal+walnuts/maple syrup/cinnamon about an hour or two after waking at the earliest. Then I might have a small meal 4-5 hours later, and another 4-5 hours after that. I'm not crazy about food but I do love chocolate!

Today.. . Shake about 2 hours after getting up/10am. Dark chocolate peanut butter cups as a treat. 1pm 1/2 package vegan gluten-free mac & "cheese" with soy hot dog. Dark chocolate coconut bar as a treat. Dinner/8pm about one cup of white rice with tamari, and avocado-carrot sushi with sesame seeds and tamari. So far 8 8oz glasses of water, one had lemon juice and several had a splash of cranberry juice. That's a good "big" eating day for me!
we WANT you to postpone eating breakfast and honestly you are eating in a pretty pink-friendly pattern as well. Most of us boy moms eat all day long every day and it's a real challenge for us to change that.

I want to reiterate that since you are a light eater anyway, again, please do not start changing up your diet dramatically. Since you don't eat a lot and eat healthy foods and still have some extra pounds I would be VERY concerned that you'd have the ability to get enough food to get and stay pregnant if you were to cut back. Your cal intake is in pink range. The foods you eat are all things I would not bat an eye seeing a pink swayer eat. You have so much going for your sway, just stay the course and carry on!

I found out about my MTHFR mutation after that. So now I don't take any synthetic B vitamins and switch from folic acid to methyl folate. The MTHFR mutation also puts you at increased risk for blood clots, which can cause implantation and pregnancy problems, so I'm now taking baby aspirin 3 times a week. I tried taking it daily but I got too much bruising. Most people with the MTHFR mutation have to continue taking baby aspirin and/or other blood thinners during their entire pregnancy. Also, lots of people with thyroid problems and vegans have low ferritin (iron stores). I've always been a meat eater but my ferritin was extremely low and I've been working on getting it normal for the past 17 months! It's a simple blood test so ask to be tested. Low iron can cause poor egg quality, so may have played a role in my miscarriage. My level was 8, and ideal is 70-90! I've been on prescription iron 3 times a day since I found out and at my last blood test my ferritin was only at 46! My best friend is a vegetarian an hers was low too.

Also, my mom has thyroid problems and soy is a big no no.

I'm also gluten-free and grain-free for the most part which keeps me from eating foods fortified with synthetic folic acid.
