I am a hobby astrologer and I can assure you there is absolutely no basis at all for the moon sign theory. No actual astrologer would credit it. It's just made up nonsense that has a 50% chance of being 'correct'.

X sperm do NOT live longer. That's been totally debunked and was an error made by Dr. Shettles when he mistook capacitated and uncapacitated sperm (this is 100% proven - not speculation!!) Dr. S died a long time ago and he was nearly 100 years old when he did. Unscrupulous people have continued publishing his theories but they're debunked.

What may sway, though, is number of attempts, and also number of sperm count (and overall quality and health). For reasons we do not understand, one attempt (the old Shettles recommendation) has gotten over 70% pink for us and this number has stayed consistent for years and now hundreds of pink sways. With 3 attempts, this falls to 40% girls even with otherwise good pink sways. Based on this, I can no longer in good conscience ever tell any of my blue swayers to follow Shettles as written - I want you guys in with 3 attempts in the fertile window if at all possible...the night of positive OPK (day before O), again the next mornign (O Day) and then again the following night (O Day).
Having DH release only every 2-4 days builds up sperm numbers to max levels and additionally may help your blue sway. So he can't release daily like you were asking about in the other thread. What you should have him do is either release on his own or with you, with a non-spermicide condom, every 2-4 days starting as far in advance of sway as is feasible, OR if you are ready to give up on Shettles, have unprotected sex every 2-4 days starting when you're ready to TTC (and preferably have him releasing that often prior to that.) and then tack the 3 attempts onto the end of it. Exposure to the hormones in his semen may make you more boy friendly and has been proven to boost fertility. But if you aren't ready to ditch Shettles yet, then just do the regular release with the 3 attempts at the end.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
