If you're still nursing your little man, that may help a bit as well. If you can get some Clomid or Femara it really seems to help. Most of our husbands would do nothing to sway and we still get very good results with those things and with only 3 months average time to conception.

Some things are obviously myths; the downside of swaying and why it's such a minefield is because there's a lot of "sciencese" that isn't really science at all. Either it's been debunked using modern technology, or it's biologically impossible, or it's an out and out misrepresentation of facts that some unethical folks use to make money off of. I am always happy to explain anything - things like timing, pH, ions, mineral balancing diets don't actually work despite having "sciencese" wrapped around them so please just ask ask ask anything that is confusing.
With my middle son I used ovulation test sticks to determine my fertile period (my last baby was an unplanned blessing so there was no ovulation tracking involved) so when you refer to the "fertile window", would that be when I'd get a positive on the ovulation stick? How is a fertile window determined?

Ok! This sounds great! So i do want coaching and a customized plan. I'm interested in the low everything plan and I'm very active. Excercising 60 mins 6 days a week will fit my lifestyle. I'm hoping to run a half marathon in December so I am doing a lot of cardio. The low everything may be interesting since on my runs I'm burning 400-1100 calories a day. Which coaching plan would you recommend? I'd like to ttc in October so I need to start ASAP. Thank you so much for your support and info!

I look forward to learning more from all of you!

The timing of intercourse is not important anyway. Most of us on here have uncooperative hubbies (myself included) who don't want to hear anything about swaying at all and we are still getting great results even with this.

Hi again boymama, I have your questionnaire and will get right to work on the sway plan. Keep up the great work, we've had lots of success with gals training for marathons and half-marathons getting pink.

The fertile window runs between O-4/5ish and O Day, but most pregnancies occur from sex between O-3 and O Day. We also talk about a fertile "micro"window which is O-2 thru early on O Day and the odds are much much higher at that point in time than in other points. It's just the point at the cycle you're the most likely to get pregnant.

Postive OPK is generally 24-36 hours before ovulation. Sometimes a little sooner, sometimes a little later. So by having that attempt at positive OPK it's a guarantee that it's within the fertile window.

Thanks!! I'm excited to get started. I'm staying vegetarian and trying to follow the suggestions until I hear back with my plan. :-)
