That's what I thought too! Looks like that's the day I ovulate. Same as last time TTC.
This month is just a test month.. Sept and Oct are my attempts! So exciting!!
Thanks again ladies and GL

Hi Robin just thought I'd mention that a pos opk doesn't mean you ovulate that day. Generally, you'll o 12-72 hours after a pos opk. Majority of people o the day following pos opk

So I guess I'm a touch confused. Last pregnancy I charted with temps.. and next month (attempt month) I will hopefully find a basal thermometer.
Anyway.. last time it told me that my ovulation day was CD 12. Based on my temps. I totally know this can change though..
You saw above my CD 11 and CD12 OPKS. The one on CD 12 looks positive.
But when I tested CD13 and CD14 it was a stark negative!?
So does this mean I should start earlier like day 10 and 11?
Or should I keep doing the tests until later into cycle?
I guess I'm confused bc if I get a positive on day 12 doesn't that mean day 13 would be positive too if OPKS mean you are going to ovulate in 24-72 hrs?

OK, so last month you ovulated CD 12. This month you may not be. That is what I'm trying to express is that even if you did O on CD 12 for 4000 months in a row, it can still change on ya.

The rate at which your OPK goes negative does not tell you anything about when you Oed. You can get a negative test and not have Oed yet, and your OPK could also stay positve for a day or two after O. All the OPK strips test for is the surge of hormone that then takes your body a certain amount of time to clear. This has nothing to do with when you O. You'll ovulate an average of 24-36 hours after the first OPK (not the darkest) regardless of if your test is negative or still positive.!!! Questions??

thank you PB, and I also wanted to mention that you can have the positives on a certain day for months, years, or eons and that can still change at any time. Even if you seem very regular, it can change unexpectedly so be prepared for that to happen!
