Thanks for that ladies. Well, last night didn't happen anyway. My DH has been quite distant and moody lately (and I've been feeling a bit lonely as a result as well, except for my beautiful children of course who always make me smile). Maybe tonight we will reconnect again and get a BD in. Thankyou for telling me about those tests. I must go and check now as did another this morning already and got a positive. So will test again this afternoon and take that one as a positive. I know O must be on its way becasue I woke up this morning with all those dreadful anxiety symptoms again. It was terrible. I get butterflies really bad, upset tummy, can't eat, a few trips to the loo with loose movements and thought I was going to throw up a few times too. I always seem to get this just before O time, yet I haven't had any noticeable EWCM just yet either. I also really need to try and get my parasite infection sorted out once and for all as well, because I often wonder if that wreaks havoc on my system. I have found a GE here in Melb who seems to have better treatment plans for people with parasites so am going to my GP today to get a referral to go and see him. I just want this this gone...am sick of chronic daily diarrhoea, bloating, gas, bouts of itchy rashly skin, itchy anus (sorry, tmi) and the bouts of anxiety. I've had this for years. Sorry for rambling. Not having a good day today. I wonder if I should just postpone ttc until I get this other business sorted out.

2019. My longed-for baby girl (DD2) arrived into the world safe and sound on 13th June 2019 . We named her Lucia Anna Catalina. I still can't believe she is here and often have to pinch myself. I am one VERY blessed Mumma. She also has a dimple like her big sister.

Hi ladies. This has turned into a dilemma. Just when I thought we were all good to go for SMEP, DH has been sick with a cold and cough and more tired than usual. Anyway, yesterday afternoon I did a second Ovuplan OPK test and got a positive result. But then when I hopped into bed last night DH was sound asleep already and I had a fit of anxiety (the anxiety started yesterday morning just out of the blue and I'm sure it happens sometimes just before I O) and couldn't go through with a BD attempt...needless to say I tossed and turned all night long and barely slept a wink. This morning at around 5.30 I sidled up to hubby in bed for cuddles and told him I'd missed him and we ended up BDing then. What do I do know? This afternoon I got a blazingly positive OPK (like second line WAY darker than control line) and have had EWCM again. FF has marked crossroad for today as being O today, as it is either my second or third day of pos OPK. What do I do? Do we now skip tonight and BD tomorrow night (just in case I don't O til tomorrow)? Or just leave it at this morning's attempt? Here is a pic of my chart too.

The anxiety today and yesterday has been awful. Atomic - was it you Hun that said you sometimes have anxiety around time of O? This morning and yesterday morning I couldn't eat anything until lunch time and even dry-reached a few times in the kitchen as though I was going to vomit whilst getting the kids their breakfast and school lunches organised. Just anxious feelings and panic attack typed feelings. I also have to go to the toilet with loose bowels maybe 3 or 4 times in the mornings. I have had a lot more stress going on too recently which may have exacerbated it but otherwise, I don't know where it comes from or why, especially since I am on an antidepressant already and take it regularly each morning. I hate it! I was even in tears this morning for a bit about it. Things have been tense between myself and DH (don't know why, he has been unwell and just tired and distant so it makes me feel lonely), I have a 16 year old dog who needs a heart medication (which he hasn't had for a week now because we don't have the money), I've had a few unexpected bills come up.....I think it's all just gotten on top of me. Sorry for rambling on, I just have limited people I can talk to about this because many people just don't understand. They would tell me to just 'get on with it and forget about it,' which I totally do and would if I had control of it. It must be down to hormones then becasue I don't know what else could be causing it. But I hate it, and I often wish I could be more like others around me who seem to have it all so 'together' and don't suffer from any emotional disorders.

Did you get a +opk on the cheapie test also? I think the first opk was a false + or gearing up to surge. It happens to me sometimes one will be + or look close but the others are way off and then he true surge happens a day or two later.
I would get in as many BD as you can bc you are only having 1 bd in so far...but if it doesnt work out bc DH is sick then it doesnt .....
However, i dont think you need to be anxious around O bc the odds are strongly that you wont get pg from it....just look how many cycles you bd right bang on top of O and nothing. So just let it go and have fun

I know MrsG, but I'm sure this anxiety is due to hormones. I have woken up this morning pretty much back to my normal self...without that awful anxious feeling. Strange...and I don't get it all the time. I did have bad cramping and O pains yesterday afternoon that lasted into the evening night as well and just decided not to BD last night as well as that may have been heading into boy sway territory. Will BD again tonight though, just in case I hadn't Oed and it was late. Plus I just finished today's OPK test and it's another positive so FF has moved my O til today. I will defintiely get another Bd in tonight now and just hope for the best. Next month/cycle I will definitely go back to SMEP. No matter how much anxiety I get I don't want to have any regrets. Here's a pic of today's test.

How many hours after your last OPK pos test should you O? If only we knew for sure.....if we BD tonight it could be too late couldn't it? Oh wel...I'm not going to stress about it. Given that horrendous anxiety I've had the last 2 days, I've done the best that I could do this cycle.

Is that the test or the control line?
The line is very dark!
0 usually happens 24-36 hr after +opk.

Yes I have a severe mood alteration around O, usually after but sometimes it starts the day before or the day of and goes for about 3-5 days. it's a very drastic shift in my mood.
