No I didn't, kinda regretting it now as its my last baby, bit late now tho! I went fairly hard-core this week tho cause I knew I was dtd so I ate very little for the few days running up to it, 10 day abstaining, 1attempt, loads of coffee and diet coke, and had lost weight so hopefully it's enough ... That's if I'm even pregnant!!! 😃

The main reason why I did was because I didn't have the time or patience lol to do a ton of research, like I had a good idea, but reading so many things can be conflicting too so I was going crazy as to what was the right stuff to do. I am also on metformin for my pcos, so I wanted to know more about that and how it would effect my sway and such. I also wanted to have access to Atomic more since I had so many questions. I'm glad she's put up with me and my questions lol! I did diet (~1500 calories, 50-60g protein and 50-60g fat), still ate meat, but made sure I didn't go over the protein amount, I stopped snacking, still ate breakfast (3 meals a day, but didn't eat cereal), drank coffee and one can diet soda and a glass of white wine at night. I lost 6 lbs since starting, which means I did the diet for around 6 weeks, roughly. We abstained for 7 days and did one attempt at first +opk. Oh and I also stopped all vitamins, except for folic acid.

Sounds like a good norskie, fingers crossed for you. I stopped all vitamins too and went vegetarian with the odd exception! Hate this 2ww, maybe it's in my mind but I'm feeling really crampy and extra tired .. who knows, might test the end of nxt month

Thanks! I tried going vegetarian, but man that was way too hard for me. I've always been a meat and potato girl and cutting out all meat was way too hard. That's why I just made sure to cut back on it and stay within the protein limits. Yes the tww is awful. I usually symptom spot, but all of my tww symptoms are pretty much the exact same either pregnant or not lol. The only thing I've noticed before is having a metallic taste in my mouth and peeing more often that stands out for being pregnant. Otherwise I always get tender breasts, get more hungry, more moody, crampy etc. Although it is super duper early I do have a funky taste in my mouth all the time and have been peeing more along with all the other pms symptoms. Idk I guess we'll see! Fingers crossed for us!!

Today I've been very moody, cramping, bloated and peeing allot ... What's the earliest you can test and get a positive? I know it's probably different for everyone but does different genders play apart do you know? I'm only dpo4

Yes everyone is different, it all depends on when your little bean implants into the uterus, which they say can start as early as 6dpo, but you need a couple days for the hcg levels to rise enough to show up on an hpt and again everyone implants at different times. I know for me and my last two pregnancies, which sadly ended, I was able to get a very faint line at 8dpo and I started testing at 7dpo lol. As far as the gender thing goes, I honestly do not know if that plays a role in when implantation occurs or not, my guess is no, but I do not know for sure. Maybe Atomic could jump in with her thoughts?
