1)Ok, totally up to you whatever diet you feel comfy with.

2)That can be a risk when swaying blue so if you think hubby can't do all the attempts, it's better to have 2 good attempts than 3 failed ones, that's for sure. Even stretch the every 3 days to every 4 if you think that will help. What has happened to some blue swayers is that they do one attempt, and then all of a sudden their hubby can't and you're stuck with only one attempt. better to have 2 viable ones than one or zero!

3)It's possible (even likely for many of us) to have tendencies towards PCOS without having it full blown and in that case you still need to take precautions not to go overboard with weight gain and carby foods when TTC a boy. I have a post about that in this thread, 5 from the top, in "atomic fertility diet" you'd follow the variation for blue swayers. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...rt-3-pcos.html

4)I do not require anyone to wean for swaying. If you guys still enjoy it, carry on. I do think it sways pink but we can easily overcome that with diet.

5)I am not a fan at all of cornflakes or rice krispies for swaying. I know they recommend on other sites but I think they are just about the worst thing for a blue sway. Anything with more "stick to your ribs" power would be better.

6)Blackmores is difficult for me to check because they don't put their nutrient data up in terms of % and insted just give amounts. I know of several ladies who have used it tho. It already has fish oil in it so I would either skip it totally or take the 1000 only 2-3 days a week. Since you're nursing I would probably skip it in case it causes your baby to bleed/bruise more than she would otherwise (big doses of fish oil can do that)

7)We aren't sure about decaf coffee and how it sways. I DO believe tea sways blue so I would prob. stick to that just to be on the safest side.

8)I am not the biggest fan of protein powders and if you do use them I prefer the whey protein ones. Every now and then is fine. would not make it a daily thing tho

    9) hubby exercising is fine, he should try to skip jogging/cycling as they may sway pink

Thanks so much for your patience!! Much appreciated!

Haha oh no, I just noticed what you said about the name situation!! My DH also doesn't want to use his name (a family name), but my SIL also just named her son that same name this year -- I get you on the cluckiness!!

    Hi Atomic,

Thanks so so so much for the feedback – I know you are one very busy lady, so appreciate it all the more!
Have checked out the post you were referring to as well, a great mine of useful info so thanks ^^

Will give up the occasional corn flakes (as I said it definitely wasn’t every day) – and go back to alternatives – wholemeal toast with a nut butter or oatmeal with nut butter and blueberries or yogurt with almonds/walnuts probably - will fill me up longer & keep my blood sugar levels more stable, that is true! Not chancing it even with decaf then, so no more coffee for me – I will stick to the occasional tea

Will drop the additional fish oil to a few times a week – I do forget it often (I have a terrible mummy brain that has not gotten better after having DD2 haha) so probably already am at 3times /w already (I take that more so because I have some arthritic pains – seeing the specialist at the end of Feb – and was trying to help alleviate those pains a bit). Didn’t know about the issues with nursing and high doses of fish oil so definitely will be careful with that! Nothing is worth risking darling bub’s health tbh whilst on that topic, I enjoy nursing bub (she looooves it) but I am a bit touched out at times, and would like a break before getting pregnant and nursing again – plus I want to give future bub best chances of being sticky and with a very very irritable uterus + nursing causing contractions for me, I prefer not to risk it (lost my only naturally conceived baby whilst nursing DD1).. so multiple things (not swaying) are making me want to gently wean over coming weeks
I have bought wheatgrass (powder), and will get L-Carnitine and CQ10 which I think were all ok though for a blue sway – so will probably skip Ovaboost and get those instead as from what I read since my last post, Ovaboost may not be warranted and might mess cycles up more than anything else.
Will not do protein shakes daily then – might get it every here and there but sporadically only

With regards to hubby – he doesn’t really do any cardio, just does some weights so that should be fine – I have ordered some resistance bands to help with bodyweight exercises at home to work on building mass for me since I can’t do the gym ^^ God knows I need to help my body get rid of the flab so it’s win win.
Hopefully his stamina will improve also that way – I remember when he exercised a lot some years ago now, he was much more fit in the bedroom too hehe agree re BD pre attempts etc : I will test out his stamina and ability to “deliver” over the coming months so that, if needed, I can try to space BD prior to peak so he has some steam left for the peak attempts. If I find he can’t keep up, will space out prior to peak so he can manage the BD for peak attempts – hopefully that way when we start TTC, we will have worked out an optimal BD pattern I know I have my peak between CD 17-20 so will do CD 6 /9-10ish/12-13ish then check for peak – I will start temping this cycle too (hoping for better, undisrupted, sleep so can be more accurate but may be a lost cause with my two!) so I can hopefully become more predictive of when said peak will be in addition to opks (which I will start at around CD10 so that if early O I don’t risk missing it).

@ Throwaway Panther – bit of a pain this name thing, isn’t it?
I can see you had another unexpected BFP and loss – so sorry hun – as unexpected as it may be, it’s still a difficult time to go through – how is your little DD? She will be 6 months or will be soon? Such a lovely age!

    Thanks again

yes if you wish to wean, that is of course fine, it's just that some feel they MUST for a sway and that is not the case.

No carnitine for you, that's for hubby only. Coq10 both you and hubby can take, lowest possible dose for you though. No more than 100 mg

Hubby doing weights only seems to help but NO steroid-type musclebuilders, they may sway pink.

Also check out Popsugar fitness and Blogilates on Youtube as they have some really fun exercise videos on there that are all body weight and musclebuilding.

    Hi Atomic!
    Thanks for the extra details
I left out the Cartinine – Hubby may take some every once in a while. I got CoQ10 for both and will indeed respect the lower dosage for me
And no worries, hubby definitely doesn’t do any steroids or the like at all ^^
Will check out the blogs you mention – all for fun when exercising!!

Blogilates especially is very fun!! The girl who does them has a very chipper attitude and it's contagious!! I like the other ones too but the Blogilates feels like you're hanging out with your friend for 45 minutes.
