il be using opks so il have some idea of when il ovulate, i have no other option i did the frequent bd with my two sons over ovulation, so was thinking i should do the abstinence plus 0+12, whats the reason you think i should not do it, is it because of maybe getting an opposite or not getting pregnant at all ?

Plus, if you time it wrong you very well may end up DTD right on O anyway. So why not just DTD to maximize your odds of conception to begin with rather than chasing after O+12 and risking DTD on O after all the stress and worry about it???

You can use the TBM and not do an O+12.

What I advise for someone on Clomid is not what I advise for others because I want people to be safe. I usually tell people who are doing Clomid to do diet and then whatever it takes them to get pg as quickly as possible and allow the Clomid to sway for them, because I believe Clomid sways pink in and of itself. (people conceive both boys and girls on Clomid, of course.) For people who don't need Clomid, they can sway as much as they want and as long as they want, it's just you need to minimize the amounts of time you are on the Clomid.

That having been said, I totally understand why you want to do more swaying than that.

If you really want to do the TBM method I would do it through O, probably with 2 or 3 attempts. If it were me, I would have my husband do frequent release from AF-attempt and then use the batches from either O-3, O-2, and O-1 or else o-2, o-1, and O, or else O-2 and O, whatever you feel comfortable with, for your TBM.

what do you think about doing what you have mentioned but doing the TBM with all 6 of those days ? is that too much ?

There is no "too much" if your husband is doing frequent release to begin with because his numbers will be down somewhat from that. And with the TBM, you are controlling the pH, so the common concern that people have with DTD several days a row (which is that pH will go up because of the semen), you are taking care of that with the TBM. Plus you'll have a better chance of getting pg than with O+12! I like this plan!!!
