Yes, I understand you perfectly. I once had someone tell me, "Oh, you're destined to be a boy mom, no matter how many children you have." It hurts me to this day. How in the world does she know? Can she see into the future?

I know a few people that just shake their head when they see me around town...they always have to tell me "You do know that you're going to have a boy, right" in a condescending tone. Have any of you seen the movie Miss Congeniality with Sandra Bullock? There is a scene where she takes her cop partner down by jabbing him in the face, elbowing his stomach, kneeing him in the groin and then slamming her foot down on his....I have the urge to do that sometimes....

What a BITCH. OMG that makes me SO mad. I just cannot believe the audacity of some people. There's a mom of a kid in my class who did IVF 8 times to get him. She's very nice, but we were talking about babies one day and when she asked if I was going to have another I said "maybe...thinking about it." And she said "You'll get another boy" just so matter of factly. Totally irritated me. Why do people think they can see into the future and dash our dreams. It sucks, I'm so sorry you had to hear that.

Yep, one of my old coworkers who I used to be close to said to me "your husband can only shoot boys, why bother with a 3rd if you KNOW he can't make girls?" GRRR, I was so mad at that comment! Sometimes she's abrasive like that, so I changed my tactic and now I'm telling her that all I want is a trio of little boys, so that if my 3rd is a boy, she will think that's what I want! I think sometimes I want a girl more for what other people think or for pleasing other ppl (in my family, for instance) than for me
