Am I missing something? What's going on? I haven't been on the boards for a few days and I've seen a few posts like this but haven't seen the "offender". Anyone want to fill me??

There was a lady posting left, right and centre about her revolutionary method to get a girl or boy (timing!) but she was spotted and banned!

PS - it was actually quite funny because I was thinking, lady, if you are trying to sell timing to people you are in the wrong demographic, since pretty much everyone on this site has at least one timing opposite!!

I get low temps too, sometimes 96.2!! My doc did tons of thyroid tests and all were fine.

I'm going to sticky this for a bit in the hopes that more people chime in and report on what their temps usu. are and whether they have boys or girls.

Do keep in mind that in case you become ill, you need to tell your caregivers that you tend to be a cooler person because you may not get as high of temps as others do. I almost got very sick with the Swine Flu when 7 months pg because I only had a fever of 99 and the nurse would not believe me that I had the SF (we had been exposed to someone who was diagnosed with it.). Luckily I called back and got in touch with my doctor after hours and he prescribed Tamiflu immediately and I was taking it by that night.

I had the swine flu when I was pg with my youngest as well!! Horrible, wasn't it?

I agree with Atomic. My temps are usually on the cooler side, and a fever for me is sometimes 99 or 100.

My BBTs range from the high 96's/low 97's and then after O I am usually in the high97's and 98's.

Hobber, it totally was! I could FEEL it moving in my lungs, it was bizarre. like muscle twitches and yet the nurse wouldn't believe me because I didn't have a high enough fever! Ya know, these paranoid preggos, they hear something on the news and think they have it LOL!!!

I'm sorry they were so crappy to you! Especially when you are so sick--that sucks! I pretty much had the opposite experience with the hospital. I live in a super small town, and EVERYONE here got swine flu. It spread like wildfire. When I got it, my whole family was sick (except DH). I called the hospital, they didn't even want to see me--they had DH go pick up the tamiflu. I guess that's the benefit of living in a tiny place where you know everyone!

Totally! My doctor is awesome and wonderful though, it was just the nurse. I can't really blame her bc I'm sure a lot of people really WERE calling her and asking about swine flu.

Tamiflu = wonder drug.

My temps pre ovul are usually low 97s, like 97.1, 97.3, etc
Post ov lows 98s....and I have boys
Do women with naturally higher temps seem to have more girls??

My pre-o temps average 97.4 and post O average is 98.2 (I chart in Celsius and converted). I have all boys.
