Thirdtimelucky- I just read somewhere else that you don't eat candy so jelly beans wouldn't work! What about a lettuce salad with dressing? The good dressings add up quickly in fat and calories. I would definitely think peanut butter or nut butter on your rice cake would be a great idea too. Do you do potatoes? Fry up a hashbrown cake maybe? Good luck!

    Hi gwynn18.
    Thanks for your reply!

I don't drink a lot (usually only a couple of glasses of wine a week) so maybe I should increase that a little (lol)
And yes, I was thinking maybe candy. I have been on a strict diet (due to an illness I developed after my youngest was born almost 3 years ago) so I haven't even touched a single candy in 2.5 years! The thought of having them again freaks me out a little! haha

I seemed to do better yesterday with intakes. I'm sure I'll get into the swing of things soon.
It's just so strange, eating so differently than you're normally used to!

I'm around 140-ish pound so I could lose 5-10 pound I guess. Although I don't think I've ever been lower than 134 pound since I was a teenager!

I walk pretty much every day and also do occasional jogging and gym. I may try to up my jogging and gym (on the bike/treadmill).

You can do it without candy! And yes, I'm glad you're getting in the swing of it, took me a bit too and there's days when I still get screwed up! With your calories so low, I'd worry you'll lose too much weight right away or get burned out on the diet. When are you going to ttc?

Potassium info on MFP is not reliable. Since it doesn't have to be legally listed on labels and the info on MFP is entered by users, it will often have "zero" potassium when really there is a lot.

Can you tell me more about what you're eating??

Yes you need to be eating ONLY full fat dairy with Hashimoto's. NO SKIM DAIRY at all for you (even part skim). Absolutely fine to continue with gluten free, we have good results with that.

If you give me more info then I'll be able to help you better.

No candy for people with Hashimoto's. Have you seen this version of diet, 5 from the top, called "atomic fertility diet"? I would have you on that type of diet right away. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...rt-3-pcos.html

^^^ Well obviously if you're dying for a little candy or whatever, but I am saying i do not want people with Hashimoto's to do the high carb LE Diet with the candy for cals. This is super important, please don't start eating candy, it will undermne your sway because people with Hashimoto's have tendencies towars PCOS and too much sugar/empty carbs will make your cycle go haywire and even sway blue for you.

The AFD allows for some small amounts of meat.
