I did a little more sleuthing and apparently he does all the gender predicting in secret - so instead of everyone seeing his guesses first and then finding out when the parents find out, he apparently does all that communication via private messages. Every post on the page is positive, and since he admits that he is wrong sometimes, I suspect that means that he is either deleting the posts from people who did not get right guesses, or has it set up to approve all posts before they are posted, meaning he could be only approving posts where he guessed right. https://community.babycenter.com/pos...o-anyone_tried Some people on Babycenter say they witnessed him get caught doing that firsthand. I don't know if that is true or not, but when a guy says "I'm wrong sometimes" but then every post on his page is 100% positive, but has the comments turned off, then to me that seems all very highly suspicious that he is either not approving negative posts or deleting them.
Additionally some of the posts seem to involve him telling people who are struggling with infertility that they will get pregnant in certain months/years, whether their baby will be healthy and in one case, whether or not a baby had Down Syndrome. This is extremely concerning to me since people do make decisions about pursuing fertility treatments or terminating pregnancies based on perceptions of the health of a baby sometimes (not to mention gender) and it is 100% not possible to tell if someone will have a healthy baby or when they will get pregnant by looking at their picture. So it is clear to me based on these posts that he is not just using the "testosterone theory" (see below post) and that he's doing some sort of "psychic" stuff, magic, mysticism, etc and thus I cannot ever recommend anyone do anything along those lines.Last edited by atomic sagebrush; April 13th, 2018 at 01:01 PM.

Ok. So now let's talk about if there is any science here. And the answer is...perhaps surprisingly...maybe.
You may have heard of the "beautiful women have more daughters" idea that's discussed here: Do Beautiful Parents Have More Daughters? | DiscoverMagazine.com and that this even dates back to childhood, with attractive children (both male and female) having more daughters than those who teachers rated as "less attractive" https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/b...more-daughters (I always KNEW my teachers were secretly rating us students by attractiveness LOL) Additionally some evidence indicates attractive men pass their looks to daughters and manly men pass their manliness onto sons LOL https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/new...n-to-sons.html (and please no one freak out about this, it's not saying that boy moms are ugly, it's a small statistical variation. if you read the actual study they found that very attractive and also the least attractive group had more daughters, while everyone in the middle, the attractive, neutral, and less attractive people had more sons)
So the question is, if this is true, then why. The obvious answer is differing levels of hormones that could then predispose people to be more likely to have more of one gender than the other. Here is an article about male faces, testosterone, and gender conceived Higher Testosterone Levels Leads to 'Manly' Faces and another that purports higher estrogen = more attractive female face Higher Testosterone Levels Leads to 'Manly' Faces It may even be the case that super manly men are extra attracted to the most beautiful women https://www.sciencedirect.com/scienc...18506X08002298 (seriously, there are children starving in the world, is it really necessary to spend $$ studying such idiotic things)
What does this all mean?? Well, it means that ~maybe~ you can tell something about a person's hormone levels by looking at their face. MAYBE. I mean seriously, look at this link again, the faces are barely different https://www.newscientist.com/article...ness-of-women/ and here's one that has guys https://www.livescience.com/10073-wo...hill-guys.html These faces are BARELY DIFFERENT. And in this one Higher Testosterone Levels Leads to 'Manly' Faces they basically just went and dug up celebrities that supported their hypothesis (and many of them had both boys and girls anyway) Higher Testosterone Levels Leads to 'Manly' Faces It was not very scientific, not at all. Thus I do not believe that some sketchy dude on FB can tell just by looking at a person, the gender of their offspring. Just not a thing I can buy into at all.
Not to mention the fact that testosterone and estrogen levels have never been proven to sway gender anyway. All this is speculation based on a few studies that used things like 2d4d ratios (finger length) and answers on personality tests to declare a person high in testosterone or not without doing actual blood tests just prior to conception (if you are aware of a study like this being done, using blood tests and hormone levels prior to conception, please hit me up with it, would love to read it) So much of this is based on the concept of "testosterone sways blue" and then researchers seem to take that as a given and make their study accordingly as if it's been proven when it hasn't. And a lot of researchers think (myself included, and I'd even go so far as to say I believe this more than the testosterone idea these days) estrogen may sway blue but estrogen = more feminine = more beautiful = more girls?? It's all very interesting and fun to speculate about but we need more information.
Additionally, we've had some reason to doubt testosterone in and of itself swaying at all anyway. Clomid raises testosterone but has been one of our best pink sway tactics when taken by women. Supplements like l-arginine that blue swayers used to take to raise testosterone actually seemed to cause a lot of pink opposites, so overwhelmingly so that I dropped it within only 2 years of the dawn of this site. We have anecdotally seen lots of men who are bald, who have all girls (such as Bruce Willis). Baldness is partially caused by testosterone and precursors of testosterone, and we have had a fair amount of success for pink sways using finasteride or similar medications that help with hair loss...even though they make hair grow, they actually RAISE testosterone levels - but we've still gotten mostly girls with men taking them. And we have also anecdotally seen lots of guys who are "juicing" with steroids while bodybuilding and whose T levels are through the roof, have many girls (as have bodybuilders themselves, here's one of many threads on the subject https://www.steroidology.com/forum/g...ile-juice.html)
So, this is a long drawn out explanation to say, no, even though there is some intriguing science surrounding this concept that definitely needs more investigation, it is not possible to tell a person's offspring's gender based on their facial features, because even IF you could tell their testosterone levels from a picture (unlikely) we don't even KNOW that testosterone levels alone are doing anything at all and in fact some evidence seems to debunk the idea.!!! Look at it this way - what will you do if he tells you "you have no chance of a girl based on your photo"?
All you're going to do is give yourself false hope (if he says "oh ya for sure ur having a girl next" when he knows nothing of the sort) or false despair (if he says "no way ur having a boy" when again, he does not know that.) It's not like he's giving you any info that will actually HELP you get a girl?!! He's looking at your picture and making a guess. So I do not see how giving some shady guy money will help you accomplish your dream of getting a girl.
And what will you do if he says "Oh yeah it's for sure gonna be a girl?" Will you not be tempted to cut corners on your sway because of that? To try sooner, to cheat more on diet and exercise? Most people would if they really thought they were guaranteed their desired gender based on some preset formula.
In the end of it all, what does his guess help you accomplish with your sway? Nothing! It's not like he's telling you any useful information at all whatsoever. Even if he is right, which he is not, he is either making you a false promise or telling you that you're doomed. How does that help you get a girl at all?? It doesn't. It will only make you happy without a guarantee, or unhappy for no reason. And it puts money into the hands of a person who is taking advantage of desperate people by being dishonest.
Please think long and hard about handing that guy your hard-earned money, because he's obviously manipulating the posts on his page to make his guesses look successful. if he wasn't, he would not have his comments turned off, he would not have to preapprove all posts, and he would have his guesses available for everyone to publicly see BEFORE people confirm gender and not only afterwards.Last edited by atomic sagebrush; April 14th, 2018 at 12:56 PM.

I got your message atomic... definitely I will not be spending money on that now... will try my best to sway a girl but will take a laid back approach....since don’t want to be competitive [emoji6]
Btw atomic how early can I start taking fiber supplements? I’m thinking of taking fybogel ... should that be ok now itself since I’m planning to sway only after 6 months ....

Yes, it's fine to take fiber now but be sure it's only before meals containing fat.
