Yep, I've seen that one before.
The moon may have some minor affect on overall fertility - when it is full, some people may be more fertile (read essay below), and when it's dark, less so. This has NOTHING to do with ions or mystical astrological signs, it's the fertility in response to light at night that matters and not the moon because the moon is ALWAYS there even when the sky is dark.
If a couple more fertile, the moon is irrelevant and they are more likely to have boys regardless of what the moon is doing. If a couple was less fertile, they are more likely to have girls and again, the moon is irrelevant and they're more likely to have girls.
OR, it could be that people who are more fertile TO BEGIN WITH are more likely to O with the full moon and vice versa, so the moon has nothing to do with it and it may just be a coincidence.

Oh and ps - I"m going to start a separate thread about this but rem. how IG was saying this is supposed to be the "year of the boy" because of solar flares and ions??? Well I barely know anyone having a boy this year and that includes people who did nothing to sway and some of whom were even swaying BLUE. IONS DON'T WORK.
