I am doing preimplantation genetic diagnosis. The question is regarding the method in which the IVF lab prepares the sperm , eg. swim up, for fertilizing the embryos retrieved.

Yes, I do. If doctors in laboratories cannot get this technique to work, then there is absolutely, completely, no earthly way that untrained people at home with toy centrifuges and egg whites can.
The gals who do the at home HT methods are also the ones who are the most rigorous about other sway techniques (including the ones that actually do work) so it is no wonder that this subset of people might seem to have more success at swaying. Very few women go to all the work of swim up only to say, "ya know, I'm just not gonna do diet after all..."
