If you were taking it straight thru, then your body was getting the amount of clotting factor "right" and keeping things in balance with the cranberry. It's the stopping and starting it that makes your blood suddenly more prone to clotting. The alternating absence and then presence of blood thinners confuses your body so it is not sure how much to make.

EVERYONE releases some blood/fluid when they ovulate and when you ovulate, your body stops making estrogen and starts making progesterone at ovulation but that is NOT why you are bleeding, the progesterone prevents that. The bleeding yiou are having is coming from your ovary, not from your uterus. When you're on a blood thinner, you release more blood and fluid than normal and some of this blood can find its way out and cause spotting.

I think you are getting confused with bleeding caused by "estrogen breakthrough bleeding" which is a different kind of midcycle bleeding that happens when you are NOT ovulating. Your estrogen levels can drop when you are not ovulating and your uterine lining sloughs off. They are two totally different things caused by two different reasons. If you are ovulating, you will not have breakthrough bleeding.

Baby aspirin is for acidity. Blood thinning is NOT for swaying, it's just the side effect that both cranberry and baby aspirin can cause. You can start with taking 2 a week and if you tolerate that well you can increase the amount up to 5 a week. you can also use aspartame for acidity as well. That is the good thing about baby aspirin, because it is safe in early pg you do not have to stop it suddenly like you do with the cranberry, you can take 2-5 a week until you get a BFP and then gradually wean yourself off of it.
