Working out in the morning is hard on the body and worse when swaying. I found a hand full of m&m can bring you back. I like a yogurt and pepsi about 10-15mins before Zumba or halfway. If you eat 10-15mins after working out your body will get used to it and learn to shutup after a few days.

Thank you for the insight. Isn't it good for my blood sugar to crash when I am done? I am not 100% sure if I need to eat something, but my work outs are pretty intense now so I was just assuming I would need to continue to get some kind of food before I go. I guess when the time comes I can try going on an empty stomach and see what my body can do. How big is the "moderate exercise" in swaying? I am not sure I can work out 6-7 days a week.

yes, but if you crash and then feel terrible you are way WAY way more likely to cheat. Plus you don't feel very good when it REALLY crashes and you can't function that way with small kiddos.
Intense exercise is just about maximizing your odds - I can't make a blanket prescription for any one individual, you need to be shrinking your muscle mass rather than growing/maintaining htat, so whatever combination of exercise/diet it takes to shrink your muscle, is what you need to be doing.!!! Running in the mornings is one of the reasons why I won't skip breakfast ... But you store plenty of glycogen to get through a rather long cardio workout so I don't think you necessarily need to eat. I feel better with something in my stomach but have never had trouble completing a fairly long run on an empty stomach/just coffee. And actually that would be a little tougher on the body, which would sway pink, right?

I agree Lillian! The one time I ever really "bonked" and couldn't complete a workout was when I ate a banana about 20 min. before I started exercising and OMG I was DYING by aobut halfway thru.
I have gotten up many times and exercised for 60 min on an empty stomach and been perfectly fine...maybe not quite as intense as some other workouts I've done but I made it through just fine. It is really the "sugar and then exercising" that you have to watch out for because you will crash then!!!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
