Thanks, everyone! I still can't believe it! Now our worries shift...the ultrasound showed the umbilical cord around her neck...she thinks only 1 time. We're hoping it doesn't affect our baby's life...growth...or delivery! DS3 was born with a "true knot" in his umbilical cord. I'm just nervous because I know a friend who lost a baby due to cord death... Prayers appreciated!
Thanks so much! We have a name! SO excited!

PLEASE try not to worry about cord around the neck!! Try to think of it more as a necklace instead of a noose. Babies are smart and 1/3 of all babes are born with cord around neck. Many midwives believe it's because they are protecting it from getting squished on the way out so they have full access to the oxygen they need. This is why the cord is full of Wharton's Jelly-it's very hard to completely squish and cut off oxygen because the jelly is thick and protects the arteries. This is why true knots are usually nothing to worry about. Baby will be fine! xoxo

Congratulations! My DS1 had the cord twice around his neck and still came out fine. All the best for the rest of your pregnancy.
