    It doesn't. we have not found instincts to be at all predictive of gender.

    With my son I had no nausea, I’m currently pregnant with a girl and although I did have more nausea then with my son, it wasn’t hardly as bad as what they say you would have when pregnant with a girl. I wouldn’t worry so much about symptoms, I don’t think they are predictive with gender. I also don’t buy much into “gut feelings” with gender. Especially when and if you have a preference, the lines tend to get blurred with anxiety of an opposite or blatant hope of a girl (for me atleast) Fingers crossed for you

    My baby was always on my right side when they scanned me or used the ultrasound. The ovulation pain I had was on the right too. My sickness was the same for all 3. My instinct was strongly boy. I had a girl after 2 boys. Instinct for dc2 was girl. I had a boy!

    Over the moon to say I just found out we’re having a girl!!! Guessing by my symptoms and my ‘gut instinct’ were completely wrong - and I’ve never been happier about it

    Thank you, Atomic! No, our results just happened to come back on Boxing Day. However, it’s my mum’s birthday tomorrow, so I might bake her a pink cake to let her know she’s getting another grandchild/granddaughter
