Some evidence indicates it helps prevent chromosomal issues with the egg, and it will also help prevent neural tube defects. Take it all thru the entire first trimester then wean off back to the amount in a prenatal.
It's actually not that much. Many sources recommend 1000 (and this is in many prenatals already as a standard) so it's about twice that. Those of us with a history of NTD take 4000-5000 mcg in the first tri.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
