PoP are you also temping? If you have a thermal shift then you ovulated, regardless of what the OPK's say. Your temp will not shift if you have an anovulatory cycle.
Personally I like to use an OPK in the morning and then in the evening if I'm getting close to when I normally O... I typically get up and pee, then I will use an OPK 1-2 hours later, generally without having a lot to drink. Then I drink as per usual. If it's looking pretty close to getting positive, I will test again around 6pm. I try to remember to stop peeing around 3-4ish in the afternoon, and to slow down on the drinking.
For me this has yielded OPK's that I can see getting progressively closer to positive and then positive, along with confirmed ovulation 2 days later as would be expected (that's normal for me, some ladies have the surge closer to O though).
I know that some women have trouble with OPK's and some women have issues with certain brands. The really cheapie brand from Amazon (Wondfo brand) causes some ladies problems.
Are you using the same kind of test strip and have you had good luck with it in the past? If you think it could be the test strip I would either try use smilie ones, or try another strip (personally I like and trust early-pregnancy-tests.com's OPK's and EPT test strips... that's what I use)Wife to a sweetie DH& Mama to:
