GirlieCat, I would go to a Reproductive Endocrinologist. They will be able to help you the most. I'm very sorry you did not get your bfp this cycle. I know how frustrating that is.

Girlieplease, I would not give up but make changes. Add in the eggs and full fat dairy plus take the vitamin b6 3 times a week. I know atomic says that going vegetarian is the best for swaying girl but my mom and 2 sisters have a bunch of girls and they still eat chicken and eggs. They eat red meat maybe once a week. So, I have still been eating chicken and eggs. I used to eat red meat every single day, so I consider it a huge difference to my diet. I would also go couch potato. I know the exercise sways stronger but too much exercise really effects your fertility after awhile. Just my two cents. I hope you can find some motivation to keep going. My fingers are crossed for you!!

AFM, I just went and had some blood drawn for a karyotyping test and AMH. I'll get the results in a few weeks. I'm really nervous for the results but I also hope it sheds some light on my miscarriages.

I think you both need an RE. Girlie, I've been telling you this almost two months now lol.. You can still get your girl with more medical help you don't have to stop swaying. If you are truly to the point of not caring wether it's a boy or girl so log as you don't need to seek out clomid etc then by all means stop your sway and see if you can conceive... I will tell you this though. I got pregnant relatively easy with my first two just as you say you fell pregnant easy too.. For me it was a case of secondary infertility though so even if you stop your sway you could still need help getting pregnant again. Give it a few months off the sway of you want and see if that helps and if not then see a doctor, or just see a doc now while you are still swaying and can still have a good shot at your daughter

    Hello everyone ;-)

I am currently 3dpo and felt the need join this forum.
This is my 2nd ( not consecutive) cycle TTC. I already have 3 dd's and am hoping for a ds this time. In my 1st attempt I swayed "hard": diet, pH, minerals, supplements, hormones, ions and timing!
This time around I'm fully relying on the moon sign :-p and a little tweak in timing & DH abstinence (4days)
Hope August turns out to be a (literally) positive month for all of us FX
    Good luck everyone

    xx

Momamia I still have chicken, one portion of red meat per week and 4 -6 eggs per week. Atomic recommended it when my lp was 9 days. I will look into the b6 vitamin but given I am adding all the above I think am getting further away from pink. But I suppose if you cannot get pregnant you have no shot at your gender at all.

Bukoram I don't know what an Re is? Some sort of reproduction consultant? Am in the UK, we only have general practitioner and then they refer you for further tests with infertility clinic if you have not conceived within a year. But my gp said that although they would do further tests but as I have children already I would not be entitled to Ivf. I don't want Ivf anyway. I am not desperate for a fourth and if someone told me I would be guaranteed another boy I would not go for it. I never knew about swaying and only found out about it relatively recently, my dd really wants a sister and thought it was worth a shot, I felt knowing that I can increase my odds of a girl I had to try. I would welcome another boy but only in the context of a failed sway if you know what I mean. So i don't know if we have re 's in the UK or where I would look. Thanks for all the advice I really appreciate it. My diet has went to pot the past three days but am back on it today.

Good luck everyone else, Lissastick am stalking for updates, you as well jennypenny x

I'm 12 dpo today and have had horrible heartburn and indigestion for the last few days. And today I became vertigo dizzy! Also mildly nauseous. None of these are my typical pre menstrual symptoms! But I'm not pregnant because my HPTs are negative.

I hope I am not becoming diabetic or something :-(

You should be able to do clomid at least. Beautifulrainbow is in the UK and she was able to get clomid and then injectables to conceive her 4th. Most fertility clinics don't jump straight to IVF first anyway and since you have conceived before you probably just need a little boost.

I am confused at what step to take next. This was cycle number 5 and I am 35yr old so I know they say don't try for too long before taking the next step at older ages. I have PCOS but not insulin resistance, mainly just hormone imbalances. I have been on Metformin for over 2 months and it has helped my cycle so I think that means it is helping my hormones too (have not done more blood work since on met). My cycles got longer and longer after getting off BC in January (was up to 42 days) and now on the met they are getting shorter (37 last time and 34 this cycle). My PMS has gotten way better too which doc said would happen if my hormones balanced out. I am very excited to even be having a somewhat regular and tractable cycle because that wasn't the case in my younger years.

I have gotten +OPK the last three cycles and my luteal phase is always 13-14 days. I don't particular like my current doc. I have just been going to my normal OBGYN office, but the lady I see is the nurse practitioner and she said she thinks I am ovulating and was happy to hear I got +OPKs, but that doesn't mean I for sure actually ovulated does it?

One thing that I find strange that doc just brushed off as no big deal is that AF is not even 48 hours long ever since off BC. Actual flow can be as little as 12 hours with very light spotting the rest. Also I get very bad mid cycle (ovulation) cramping...for days and days. That is how I know it is time to test and ever single time I have started cramping mid cycle is when I get my +OPK.

I should mention, I am swaying pink. On LE diet, went vegetarian, 1000mg of Metformin, 1600 of folic acid, one attempt at +OPK, starting to exercise.

What should my next step be? Should I transfer to an endo? Ask for more blood work? Other tests? Other meds? Increase the Met? I was trying to avoid expensive options. I have already spent more than I expected at the norm doc and tests because my insurance sucks. DH and I already agreed we would not go as far as IVF.

    Thanks.
I would try to get clomid or see a dr who will give it to you. I also have PCOS and had similar length cycles to you too. I'm on 1500mg of Metformin and it hadn't decreased my cycles the same as you so I think it is a great sign that yours are getting shorter. I would probably sick with 1000mg if that is what it working now.

Are you on the PCOS LE diet or normal LE? You should be on the PCOS one. Also keep up the excersise, even if you can't do the full girl sway amount, it is important to do any amount when you have PCOS.

I think if you are getting AF then you are probably ovulating. If you want to confirm it then get a BBT thermometer and chart your temps.

I don't want you to do Ivf girlie... Haven't even brought it up lol I think you need clomid and you can use clomid by itself without Ivf.. An RE is a Reproductive Endocrinologist. Not familiar how your doctors work in the Uk but here you have a few doctor options for clomid... You can ask atomic not only would it help you with a stronger ovulation but it also sways pink in the process so it could only help you girlie not hurt.

Purple, when I was TTC my youngest daughter I had regular 28 day cycles and had my period extremely consistently on the same day each month and positive OPK on the same day each month and I still was not ovulating. That's why I praise clomid so much for those who may need it because I really believe I would not have my youngest right now if I hadn't pushed the doctor for help understanding what was going on with my body. Despite the regular cycles he still said I must not be ovulating and one clomid cycle later I was pregnant so it's safe to assume he was right
