You ladies are too sweet and funny! I don’t know what has changed, but I feel very calm and at peace. I’m looking forward to my scan tomorrow morning and curious to see how long they will let us go. I will also have the midwife check me, and if she’s engaged, I’ll have her sweep my membranes.

I’m secretly hoping I go into labor tonight and don’t need my appointment!!

SO I tried to find my cervix....all I feel is mush up there and no idea where an opening would be located at this point lol. Lots of shortness of breath recently and lots of pelvic pain. Nothing else to report

XX I feel selfish but have been secretly hoping your DD would share a birthday with my DD3.. IF it's meant to be tomorrow will be the day you meet your princess.. October 2nd I hope she is just as beautiful and intelligent and cuddly as my little 'angel'.. Angela

Quick update:

Baby is breech but floating above the pelvis, which is good for trying to move her. Waiting to see if they can fit me in today for a gentle ECV to move her on the outside (not an internal version). If they can move her and get her to engage, then we will move forward with an induction. If we can’t get her to move, then we will schedule a C-section.

Here is the official plan:

I have been sent home and will be doing inversion exercises to encourage her to get head down. If I experience any contractions no matter if she changes positions or not, I am to go to labor and delivery immediately without delay. Hopefully, I can get her to change her position. If I can and labor doesn’t start on it’s own thereafter, I will be induced immediately first thing tomorrow morning.

Otherwise, I am scheduled first thing tomorrow morning for a procedure called an, gentle external cephalic enversion, to try and get her to move to head down. If that doesn’t work, they will completely invert the bed and try the procedure again. If it works, baby will be monitored for 4 hours with hourly ultrasounds to assess the placenta and cord placement and function along with her comfortability. If that checks out all clear, I will then be induced to deliver her. If the doctor cannot get the procedure to work to move her position, I will have a C-section to deliver her.

Unless I can get her to change her position tonight (I’m determined, damnit!!), then she will most likely be born tomorrow.
