Violet I'm so sorry to hear you and DH's family are going through this. My thoughts are with you and your family!
I did get an epidural for both boys but I was induced at 41 weeks and pitocin is the devil😈. My first induction they ended up disconnecting it several hours before I delivered due to an emergency so unfortunately I had to deliver him with no pain control and pit at highest dose. But with DS 2 my induction went well and I got my epidural right after my water broke and it was amazing! I didn't have a catheter.
I also drank Raspberry leaf tea through my 2nd and 3rd trimesters with him which is supposed to help the pushing stage of labor and I barely had to push him out. They kept telling me to stop pushing so they could get the doctor in the room and ready to catch and he was out in less than 5 min with me trying not to push!
We are thinking about trying again too hopper! Maybe we can sway together!

Thanks ladies! I am glad I am not alone
I have contemplated buying a no belly rub tshirt but I feel I would be the rudest person in the world. I'll just suck it up and hope random people wont come and rub my belly without asking.
Thank you Hopper ♡ I agree amd i think that you will never have those feelings again because you have a big heart. Bug hugs to you.
Lol Taytum why did I think a catheter down there[emoji14]
I had an epdirual with my first with a catheter and a spinal block with my 2nd, 3rd, and probably with my 4th, no catheters. All have pain, and the extent of the pain depends on your pain tolerance. Once your numb you wont even feel it in there ♡ I had a 5 day headache from my last and was told I needed a second spinal for it to go away. Never knew it was a side effect but I got through it without the 2nd one. Good luck and I hope you have a smooth and as painless possible epdirual.

Lol luvmyfam your DS2 sounds like he was in a right rush! My DS2 was the EXACT same. I was induced at 41 weeks by ARM as I was already 2-3cm, 30 minutes later I was pushing and couldn't stop my body lol. He was out in about 3 pushes even though I was actually fighting to stop pushing cause the midwives in the room didn't realise it had all happened so fast!
Yay it would be wonderful to plan a future sway with you
I reckon if we are trying again it will be sometime before May 2017, I'm counting on having babies closer together to add more pinkness lol. I'm currently not sure if I will even want to have any more but at the same time I'd like to be ready mentally if we decide its full steam ahead once little man arrives.

Hi ladies,
@Violetwinter: I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I hope your DH, MIL and their family are dealing as good as they possibly can. It must be so hard to lose someone you care about knowing they didn't want to live any longer
It makes me so sad. Luckily, you feel your little one move so you can think about something else from time to time. Sending you lots of hugs.
@Mamacass: I've looked into it for the dress, but they only ship to the UK
But in the end, it's just a dress, so I'll just buy another one
@Netti: great the party went well. That's the cutest picture
@yogi&booboo: I've started the nursery about a week ago. We moved the furniture in the room, but we still have to paint the walls, so a lot of work still but I'm starting to picture her little room in my head. I work with colour themes instead of animal or other themes. My boys room is deep blue and lemon green. I'll post a picture once we're finished. My girls room will be soft pink, yellow and apple blue sea green (in pastel version). You'll find a theme for your little men, I'm sure. Now there's so many nice decoration items for sale online. I wish there weren't so many online shops, because they ruin me financially
@Hopper: such wonderful words coming out of your mouth about your DS3. He's lucky and blessed to have such an amazing mum who loves him sooo much already. And about the swaying, I think the controlling factor actually plays a huge part in it. I also have a very controlling personality, but for some reason, I let go during my sway. I don't even know how I managed, but I did LE diet without any cheats and I never stressed about what to eat because I got used to it. I didn't stress about having a girl at that time either, because I was convinced I did the best I could. So maybe your DH is right and you have to let go a bit more. The control freak in me totally came back since then though, the wait until the gender scan was horrible and my DH is suffering a lot from my impatience to start decorating the nursery
@Taytum: I was induced for my first and luvmyfam is right about cytocin being the devil. I didn't want an epidural, but it was inevitable. The induction took ages and I suffered a lot of pain because I was completely exhausted. With my second one, I had a different mindset and wanted the least medical intervention possible and I succeeded to push him out without an epidural. It was the most beautiful experience of my live actually. BUT this is you first, so if you're comfortable with an epidural, just go for it. A healthy baby is really all that counts in the end. And once you've pushed one out, another one will come more easily, so maybe you can try again without an epidural for a future brother or sister
Here, everything is just fine. Little lady moves a lot and I feel a bit less tired and nauseous, so that's a good thing. Tomorrow we're taking an 8 hour train trip to go see my family in law, so I'll be a little less online, but I'll be back the 1st of March. And I'll probably read in the meantime anyway

This is my third baby close together (all bubs were under one year) and still all boys 😂😂😂 im going to talk to dh about trying one more time and give the diet and cardio skipping breakfast a decent try.
Taytum i haven't had an epidural always begged for one but thats cause i was so close to pushing. I must admit id rather the pain than a needle in my spine but everyone's different.
I have my fisrt antenatal appmnt with the hospital this Thursday but hoping to do shared care.
