How are finding it with DD after 3 boys? Must be wonderful to pick girly outfits and buy different things? Is it still sureal that you have a DD?
There is exactly a week between them as DS4 will be 2 weeks on sunday which will really stress me out...I absolutely love the newborn bit and feel very sad its my last time....Dont think I will ever be ok with never being able to have newborn cuddles again...it is the most magical thing in the world!
In all honesty it's no different to having a baby boy - she still eats, sleeps and poos like the boys did :-) It's lovely choosing her outfits but she usually poos or sicks all over them and ends up in a sleepsuit anyway! I am really enjoying her but I think that's because she's my 4th and I've become more relaxed with each baby and not because she's a she! Are you more relaxed this time too - or were you anyway?! I was quite uptight when the first 2 were babies but not so much with DS3 and I really enjoyed him as a baby too.

Thanks maybebabythree, I hadn't thought of that side of things. I was thinking if I did sway at least I wouldn't be able to blame myself if DS3 came along, but totally get your point, sometimes too much hope can be dangerous!

    Hi ladies

sorry little action on here again another nightmare week ds1 and 2 had coughing viral thing gave it to ds3 who has always suffered with his chest so on tuesday thought I better get it checked before it got worse....went thinking i would get antibiotics ended up being sent to the hospital as his temp was 39.4 heartrate at highest was 175 and his sats were really low!!! I was all calm until I realised the constantly rapid bleeping noise was his heartrate! They couldnt get his temp or heartrate down - ended up with an xray and threat of IV antibiotics as he was spitting all the meds out. Luckily we finally got some down him and at 11.30 they let us go home with inhaler, and antibiotics plus eye drops as he not only had a chest infection but an eye and throat one too!!

THANK GOD baby is still in my belly couldnt imagine having to deal with this with a newbie x indy def on the mend but VERY wheezy still hates all his meds and not sleeping properly and has eaten 1 packet of raisins, a kitkat and some grapes since monday night!!! I now have the bloody cough and am paranoid i will either put myself into labour or wet myslef lol

On a positive note just booked in for my homebirth YAY

oooooooh for all these weenie babies being weeks old, babymad am dreading the weeks flying by god i remember sobbing when packing ds3 newborn clothes away this time i will be even worse!

Welcome serendipity - hope you find the support you need here it is a lovely group x x my advice would be only sway if you can handle another boy.....i know i thought i could but i think because i swayed so hard I found it even harder that it had failed but that is me personally i know i will love my baby boy its just been a very very hard journey

As for the holidays I am looking forward to them - i usually love them but after I had ds3 i did find it very hard still being in the learning curve of going from 2 to 3 and the weather was rubbish and DH working 6 days a week. This time i have my mum with holiday to take and we are going away so it will definitely help - been trying to find a couple of days in a club for the older boys so they dont get too bored, everything is so expensive though!!

    Hi all

Oh doesn't time go too quickly as soon as they are out. DS3 is only 1 week old and it feels as though it has gone in a flash. I'm trying to get in as many cuddles as I can. Babymad - I adore the newborn bit too... Duke's currently curled up on my chest in that little ball way that they have in the beginning.

DS3 has been pretty good, although last night was the longest. He just gets unsettled - took 4 hours to get him back down again. Stump has finally fallen off - ugh that is the worst bit!!!! I HATE the cord stump!
BFing going well - did have grazed nipples so very ouchy for a few days. I adore BFing... so enjoying that.

Charlie - what a stress... poor little guy. My DS1 always gets hit by chest infections...DH had to take him to the childrens hospital the night before bubba arrived. Hope your bubba waits until you have a healthy household again!!

I look forward to school holidays as it means DH is home!!!! He's off for 4 weeks with the new arrival which is wonderful.

    Anyways I'm rambling on...
hope everyone else is going well....

Pinga- glad you are enjoying the baby cuddles. Amazing that dh has so much time off, hopefully you will get lots of help and sleep.

I'm super tired at the mo but negotiated with work yesterday only to do another 2 weeks, so thank goodness I don't need to work until the end of term.

charlie- I'm getting that feeling of feet under my ribs all the time now, so squashed in there and I still have ages to go! I have a short body so there is not a lot of room. Poor dh had to go to hospital this afternoon with severe tonsilitis and he couldn't even drink. So I guess I'm more tired not getting help at the moment.

Exciting about your extension TLM, I hate the chaos of building of it but it will be amazing when it is done.

Love to you all, catch up tomorrow

Oh cr@p today I finally clicked that this little lady could be arriving any time really and I have to endure hours of labour I'm scared this time, not sure why just am. While queuing in asda with my breast pads and maternity pads the scary realisation set in lol
How have u mummies found the after pains this time round? I think that's what I'm scared of most :S

I am finally all sorted for the arrival, have the moses basket next to the bed ready, all clothes washed, pram out the loft, house almost there, I imagine my labour will be spent cleaning tho lol.

Hope u are all good Charlie how are u??

Just saying a quick Hi to everyone, Ive been popping on and reading and running as haven't been able to keep up and reply to posts.
I have about 9/10 weeks to go, only 2 or 3 weeks left working now so am looking forward to stopping and being able to commit myself fully to just my family.
