Whereabouts in Canada are you? I'm a few hours from Toronto. I've been trying to find out if anyone will do a gender scan at 16 weeks (not sure I want to, just like the info). My dr told me to book my anatomy scan at 19 weeks, though my last pregnancies I was told 18-20. I was tempted to call up UC baby and talk to them. Their website says 20 weeks, but ..... I thought because it's private, they may do it earlier.

I'm still not sure if I'm going to find out. My mom keeps going on about how it's the grandma's right to know the sex and she wants to come to the ultrasound and have the tech just tell her if I don't want to know. She is adamant that she will not tell me but I will know just by looking at her. She wants a girl more than I do. She keeps talking like this baby is a girl already. I've told her baby is most likely a boy, but she just keeps going on and on and on. Grumpy.

anyway, I was wondering where in the States you went for your scan????

Marika I think I would tell ppl that I go team green. If you want to tell later on you can always say like the little one wasn't shy or we changed our minds the last minute.

Robin has it sunk in yet? what amazing feeling must that be

Hotdogz so hard to chose between team green or not. even when you have your DG. I can imagine your hoping for another one.

I've been puking for three mornings in a row again... and smells are getting stronger again! it almost feels like I'm in my first trimester again! yuk.
I started looking in to my baby clothes already. I've collected quite some girl clothes over the years!! Soooo hoping that I can use it this time. Lately I've got the feeling this really might be our little girl.
At the same time I'm scared I'm setting myself up for major disappointment.
I still want to go team green! I just want to enjoy this feeling for a while.
If I look at pictures that remembers me how bubba looked at my last us they seemed to be girls.... and again... I'm thinking I'm jinxing myself... and I'm wrong this must be another boy.
gonna enjoy washing some girl clothes for now (and my little boys clothes.. lol!)

I think all u team green ladies are doing so well! We were team green for both DDs and it was very exciting! But we are equally as excited to know this time too. I suppose as it's our last we are looking forward to it as much as we can! Hope for the ladies looking for an U/sound clinician find one. I had our scan at 15 weeks and it was correct.
Lala, I looked into placenta encapsulation too, but I'm still on the fence about it. I don't know anyone who has done it so can only base what I know off what I read on the Internet. I wonder how much of the 'goodness' is lost in the steaming and drying process. There are some places where we live that will come and pick it up after birth and return the capsules after 24-36hours. Hahah I don't know if I Cld go through with it but I have been doing research just to make sure I know my options.
Here is my bump pic too. Not very good one, but this is 21weeks now x

Angie in my house it's the complete opposite to yours I have told all my friends and family we're having a girl as I can't keep a secret but my mom and stepdad said that they really don't want to know until the birth and it is so hard keeping it a secret from them I really wish I could tell them!

Oncue- if it helps I know friends that have done it and swear by it. The process of dehydrating should be done at very low temperatures so as to keep it in it's raw form. Though of course you could always freeze into chunks and throw into smoothies- eek- I know people who have done that but I just couldn't.
