Thanks smarston! I greatly appreciate the company.
Unfortunately yes, the green handled 'Wondfo' OPKs are indeed rip offs/fakes, and they are less sensitive, much lower quality (I dipped 4 sticks into the same urine and all the test lines looked different). If you got yours of amazon you should be able to get a refund. If you re-order more, make sure the seller has a medical sounding name. Also order from the Wondfo supplier with the most reviews/purchases. The best OPK brands you can buy in stores are FRER and CB digitals (NOT the Advanced). DollarTree OPKs are a bit sensitive but if you're having issues getting positives they might work well for you. Did you get true positive OPKs before 2 months ago? With which brand? How dark was the darkest OPK you got last month (test line % darkness of control line)? What time of day do you test?
I hope you see a nice big follie at your scan tomorrow. What CD do you usually O around?

sage, unfortunately I think only being sick at least a week before O sways pink. My symptoms appeared abruptly 2 days after O. I am hoping though that maybe being so sick will help with implantation.
I think you probably Oed on CD15 so we are O buddies or almost! (I think it's possible I Oed on CD19.) Looking at your cycle last month, if you Oed on CD14 your 1&2DPO temps were almost as flat. Except this cycle your initial temp shift is more dramatic, which I think is good. That is weird about your thighs. I wouldn't assume it's a bad sign, maybe it's a response to higher hormone levels and is actually a good sign?

Two of my boys dance, DS2 and DS3. DS2 started a preprofessional ballet school this year (the kind you audition for, ours has a 7 year program), so proud of him! I'm a ballet dancer too though obviously at my age just recreational, lol. We're all dancing at the same school since the school has adult ballet classes too.
DS3 is just in pre-ballet/creative movement for now, we'll see in a few years if he's interested enough to join the prepro program, he's a bit too young to tell if he'll stick with it.
And yeah my temp was fine too despite the time change....and FF says to just ignore the time shift and temp at your usual time anyways. I think it really matters more how many hours straight you sleep than anything else.Me (38) and DH (38)

Totally agree that a good chunk of deep sleep matters more than temping at the exact same time! I temp at widely different times every day (so in my chart, the open circles mean I didn't sleep well, or I slept a lot more or less than usual, or I went into withdrawal from my meds, or I'm sick). Despite that I think my temps are pretty reliable.

smarston, some women (myself included) don't ever or very rarely get positive OPKs. In 4 years of using 3 American brands and half a dozen European ones, I've only had 2 true positive OPKs. But I've learned what 'my positive' looks like - about 75-90% as dark as the control line, depending on the brand.
Honestly though I've had more luck with CB Advanced Digital OPK (when used very, very methodically), bc OPKs often don't give me enough warning to catch O with just one attempt. With the CBAD I get 4 days of High, then my Peak, and O the day after I Peak.

Thanks maiden! Hoping that my bloodwork tomorrow will give me some idea when I should get a positive. My RE is fully aware of my swaying and how we're attempting at positive surge. Hopefully, she'll let me know tomorrow when we think that will be. Got a negative on FRER this evening. Have to say, I like the POAS better then peeing in a cup! Hope you can get to a doctor tomorrow!

Maiden: that's crazy about the doctors there! Definitely get some antibiotics when you can - strep is nothing to mess around with! And yes, that's about as dark and I've seen them. It was that dark yesterday afternoon, last night, and this afternoon when I took the picture, but today around 6pm when I took one it was a lot lighter. Really hoping that's a good sign? DH and I BD'd today too, so I am really hoping for a temp rise.
I woke up this morning at my regular time regardless of the temp change! I guess that means tomorrow I'll have to see what the temp is, since tomorrow will be an adjustment.
Also, has anyone heard anything about egg quality O'ing after cd20? I'm thinking if no temp rise by next Monday I'll make another appt to check progesterone levels and see what OB recommends.
EDIT: okay, large drop today (even after waking up an hour/half earlier to check the time). Hoping for a rise/positive OPK soon! And in my dream last night I had a little boy! [emoji4]

Taytum, fx for a temp rise today!
Well this cycle's done then. Boooo. Big humongous temp drop and spotting already. Bah my LP is still sh!t at 9 days then, which pisses me the HELL off but it's been a super wonky weird cycle with the first one off meds so I'm not gonna freak out too much about it.
I doubt we had a great egg this month with the multiple false surges to even O, not a strong O at all really. A few things I am happy about - my LP temps were awesome! I've NEVER gotten such high temps ever, I looked back at all my previous charts and my LP temps were higher than all of them, including the pregnancy charts. This is especially impressive since I temped orally this cycle, and in past charts most of them were vag temps. Well disappointing of course, but that's probably good news from a progesterone production front.
The other thing I'm pleased about is that I didn't get the drops in temps I usually do the 1-2 days before AF shows up. So again, that's a plus on signs my progesterone levels should be good. But if the prog is good, why is my LP so crap still? I'm not pleased about THAT.
Thirdly, no PMS. I'm usually a BEAR in the 1-2 days before AF. And no bitchiness or rage this time. So that's got to be good right? I was a bit prone to tears for the whole LP but I didn't get the RAGE BITCH mode I usually do. DH is happy about that, and I assume that it means my prog was at good levels since I thought it's usually plunging prog that causes PMS. No other PMS symptoms either - no bloat and water retention I usually get, I usually ALWAYS go up 1-2 water lbs and this time I was losing weight all through the weekend.
So some positives to come away with but disappointing of course. At least I can have coffee today, I was avoiding caff in the 2ww just in case. And of course today is JUNK FOOD BINGE DAY! Yeeehaw!Me (38) and DH (38)
