Hi Indigo!
Yay swish, I'm so glad you're in the 2ww! It's entirely up to you whether you do it again - do you remember I had the same question after our attempt?! DH wanted to do it again but I felt that we should leave it so that's what we did. I didn't want to 'send in the boys' and increase the number of sperm in there and sway boy BUT your circumstances are different and, based on your last cycle, your fertility is likely in a different place. If you want to seal the deal and increase your chances of getting pregnant then go for it!
I get the feeling we won't have many people left to tell that we're pregnant by the time we get to 12 weeks - this morning I blurted to a mum of one of DS1's school friends! We're quite friendly and I know she won't say anything to anyone but she asked me whether we were going to try for number 4 and I couldn't resist!

Not quite in the 2ww yet! Real dilemma about dtd as i don't know when I'll actually ov as haven't used cbfm before, guess I'll see what temps do tomorrow. Z, i do that too, things just pop out and then you wonder why you said it! I'm weaning myself off telling people I have no preference for gender, I've told a couple of strangers who've asked that i'd love a girl, it's a start!!

I have a couple of baby sites I've belonged to for years (since DS1) and I just popped back on (I'm not a regular any more) to say hello and maybe break my news but there was a thread on there where somebody had asked how to ttc a girl and it went on and on about Shettles and that pissed me off so much I couldn't even post because I'd want to set that thread straight and it would give me away ... and I don't want to give myself away because then I'll feel like a fool when I have a boy!
swish - if you're unsure about DTD again tonight, could you get DH to release first (now!) and DTD later? That might be a good compromise.2005

One more question for everyone...
Does low blood sugar in 2ww make a difference for gender of baby following release of egg or was it the 2ww the cycle before that makes the difference, I still don't get it!! Hope that makes sense!

It's the 2ww after conception - girl sperm suck up more glucose and if there's lots there they might suck up too much. Boy sperm don't suck up so much so likely prefer to have more in the environment. It's about creating the ideal environment for the sex you've hopefully conceived!

I'm quite lost without having my girl sway to plan. I need to take up knitting or something - I've started looking at pushchairs and carseats online but it seems rather early to be planning those details! I was going to do some gardening today but the weather put a stop to that.

I know, I wondered what I would do post 6 pm when the boys watch cbeebies, I'm so used to tapping away on my iPad on this site! You however are definitely still needed and useful here, I'm not as well researched ad you, I just do what I'm told!!! Just saw other post, I was wondering whether to dtd again tomorrow as that might be ov day? I wanted to dtd through ov day but wasn't sure whether 2 days in row ( and nothing else as far as my body knows!) would sway blue?
I've never been on any of these sites before this sway, I've surprised myself how much I like it and how you all friends now and I feel like I know you, I have to confess I didn't get it at all before this, I might have looked but I'd never post/share anything about myself.

Knitting is a hilarious choice, you could make a million baby clothes. I bet it's really relaxing but I would be useless!
