4p1b - I think so! We've been on the fence, but I do think I want a boy enough to be scared to wait until the birth day to feel all the feels [emoji6] I know if girl I can get myself pumped by getting out all my sweet baby girl clothes! Will wait until 20 week ultrasound even if given the option of the blood test Friday. Not ready to know yet!

Sorry accidently hit wrong button anyway him of 19. We did 1 attempt 2 days before ovulation. My husband did take warm showers and wore tight underwear. I was also breastfeeding at the time but not very much since my son was weaning himself. I took no vitamins either. Also the biggest thing I have found is that I always used to eat cereal every morning when I conceived my boys. I stopped eating cereal about 6 months before trying to conceive my daughter. I think all the vitamins from cereal in the morning especially and snacking sways blue.

Part 5: Due December 2017, Jan, Feb and March 2018
4blue2pink-- My DS passed at 6 weeks old from a heart condition. I've always wanted a boy from the very beginning, but as my DD2 says, "we're a girl family." I haven't had my anatomy scan yet, but my tech said girl at 12 weeks. My DD3 was called a girl at 12 weeks too, so I'm trying to come to terms with it. This is absolutely my last.

srg that is heartbreaking,
i always wanted a girl from the very beginning, had a boy 1st, then my girl who we lost, followed by 3 boys in a row, by that point i wont lie as a mum of 4 boys and no living girls i was struggling. for me there was another side to gender desire and disappointment that came from losing her. i hope that the tech is wrong and that this is a boy for you, but if not i hope you can find some peace in what is a very emotional and difficult situation <3 again i am truly sorry for the loss of your little boy, i hope my mentioning this hasnt caused you unnecessary upset xxnow 6blue5pink

Here's my update on my pregnancy for anyone interested
My first appointment was July 15th. From what the obgyn was seeing it wasn't matching up with the first day of my last AF. He just guessed maybe I ovulated later in my cycle. I knew I ovulated on or after CD20 or CD21 because I got positive OPK on both days. He scheduled me to come back the following Saturday to see if things started to change. Here is a pic from the first appointment 20120867_1583747688310976_1330961038_n.jpg
My appointment went as expected! The previous Saturday he didn't get to measure my pregnancy to give an official due date. This time you could see big change from last Saturday (its crazy how much they change so quickly), and a nice little flicker on the screen. He said he can see a hematoma during the ultrasound, and if I started to experience bleeding not to be alarmed. It's not close enough to the baby to worry. I had my normal blood work and labs done as well. My next appointment is 4 weeks out, and I will have the Harmony Prenatal Test ekkk! . Ash - I will start making regular updates as I have my appointments
I do plan on finding out next month, and I will share the gender with everyone here.
Lolabelle - When the gender part of the test is wrong is it because the 20 week ultrasound says different? Are does the company catch their mistake and inform you? So I most likely won’t be able to see my results online either till they tell me over the phone? Your call is so soon ekkk! You could totally get the call tomorrow
FX so hard for your baby girl!

Thank you for the link and info I will defo give that a read.
I remember atomic saying the same about obsessing and going for the super strict diets but I can honestly say that I've seen 50/50 results where some where quite strict and completely turned their lives upside down and some hardly did anything and both opposites of the scale got the desired gender.
When I first found out I was pregnant with twins I was In shock as I had previously had an ectopic so never expected that. My husband was jumping for joy and I was just thinking how am
I going to manage everyone's needs!! Fast forward 2yrs on the twins are approaching 18 mths and are an amazing duo. Completely different temperaments but I wouldn't change having twins for anything. I remember being told my life was over as it would only consist of a screaming baby under each arm, no sleep, no food and no life. My experience was far from that in the beginning and the only thing I would say now is I find them
Being on the move a tad bit difficult but I think that is because I am
5 months pregnant and probably wouldn't as much if I wasn't. They are an abdoloute joy 6 days out of 7
Thank you for asking xxxProud mommy to 5

Oh my word that sounds exactly the same as me..wow!
I didn't know about swaying with any of my boys not even my twin pregnancy before this one and as you said average of bd once a week and snacking and high salt content ( not sure if that makes a difference) and sugar actually, all the way through the day.
With this attempt I feel like I focused on it too much without doing enough research and doing it for long enough. I found the lack of eating difficult so then became impatient lol
Looking back at my chart we had two attempts that cycle in the fertile window one 24hrs before ov and the other was either smack bang on ov day or +12hrs but again I think way too close considering all my other boys (twins included) we conceived quite close to ov too. Had only realised this too late lol

Ash- when you did the ring test for your girl did it go in circles or side to side? I looked on the internet to see which way means what but every website says something different.
Lola- which way did yours swing when you did your ring test? So excited to find out what you are having this week!

x2 no swaying, 1st time eating less frequently as busy with ds1, limited bd, 1 attempt in fertile window as bd once a week was our average then. (this pregnancy ended in a loss)
