So I posted my 13 week nub shots and although alot of people said boy I just really feel it is a girl. DH wants to be team green but mentally I don't think I can handle that, if this is a girl I need to mentally prepare myself so by the time she gets here I am ok with everything. So do you think it is wrong if I find out gender and just not tell anyone? DH isn't firm on being team green he just thought it would "be fun" I don't find it fun, its giving me anxiety, I just need to know either way so I can prepare and get over it.

Are you going to find out and not tell DH? I tried that last time, but when I found out it was a girl, I was so upset he made me tell him what was wrong (he thought there was something wrong with the baby). But if you are having a boy, then I bet you can keep the secret, because you will be happy! Just don't let him see all the blue stuff you buy.

I think that's what I'm going to do, I just really feel it's a girl and I want to prepare myself for it mentally, think of names etc so that when she finally gets here I will hopefully be ok with everything. I can't go on like this for another 6 months it's making me miserable and everyone around me notices it. It's especially hard this time because it is my last baby for sure and I'm sad I will never get to experience a son

check up yesterday. still 5cm but she did feel contractions and then jumped back and told me not to sneeze because the babys head is right there. yes i know all this, i can feel it. she put me on the monitors and i was making some pretty waves and having lots of contractions. but its not changing my cervix any further then a 5 right now. she thinks i will go this week sometime and gave me a 0% chance of making it until my due date. but this is the same doctor who said i would have a 24 week micro-preemie.
in the meantime im off all meds and off bedrest!! i went shopping yesterday and some lady stopped me and said, "omg i hope you are having twins or triplets, because i've never seen anyone this big." so now im going back to bed to hide until the end of this pregnancy.x5
x2 dd#6 lost an identical twin sister and dd 5 lived in my arms for 2 hours

Good news girlmom! Sounds like you are getting along fine. I am so impressed you made it this far! As far as strangers making crappy comments, I have been there too. Every pregnancy someone tells me I am huge.

hopeful: Congrats!!! How exciting to be expecting again. I can't wait to hear an update.
dloui: I know doulamama kept her baby's gender a secret her whole pregnancy.
girlmom: At least you got some good news from your doc, I would love to hear "your not going to make it until your due date".
TTC5: Wow, over 7 lbs at 4 wks early....you guys really grow some big babies.
Stranger's comments must be on the rise, I had 2 people tell me today that I must be over due and then someone else was afraid to get too close incase I "popped". It didn't bother me too bad, but I do wish I would pop.thank you GD
