Interesting day this is turning into! About 2 hours ago I wasn't allowed out of bed or having the curtains around my bay closed or even top up my parking ticket. Doctors and midwives talking about me out of earshot etc. I was 167/109 but given bp meds and now it's 120/80! I am so pleased! Might get to go home yet! But it's finally dawned on me, this baby will be here soon!

oh maybebaby i'm so so sorry to hear you got PE again!! it truly is awful! i'll be thinking of you and praying everything goes ok! and even though i remember far too well how horrible it is to be in hospital at least you know it's the best place for you and dave right now. and when it's all over and you're holding your baby in your arms you know it will all be worth it regardless of how bad things may seem right now. sending you lots of hugs!! keep us posted! xx

Maybe I hope you are both ok, fingers crossed for you both!

I had my midwife appointment today, it was so quick! And now have another 11 weeks till I see her again, just seems so long away. The heart beat definatly resembled galloping horses! Who knows maybe the old wives tale could be right! I sure hope so!

Feeling soooooo tried the last week but with Charlie being ill I've been up atleast 4 times a night, he's on the mend now but his sleep is outta wack

3 more sleeps till D-day! I'm getting nervous!

I had to defend gender desire this morning on another forum I post on, it's not a gd site just a normal mum and baby one, someone posted that they had discovered that gender selection in Greece only costs around 5000-6000 euros which they thought was very reasonable.
Another person pipes up with the usual we shouldn't be able to choose its against nature, what about the people who struggle to conceive or don't at all, they'd be great full for any gender.
I hate to say it but I did message back and gave my two cents worth, I hate that people are so negative about wanting one sex over another!
I must have put my point across quite well because soon lots of people were in agreement with me! Lol
It's so bad that we can't be honest without being ridiculed!

Still looking promising to come home. Bp is now stable. Hospital is ok and everyone is being lovely.only thing is one lady has been here for six weeks and another for three! Makes me feel positively healthy!

Just been told I might be able to home tonight! Knowing my luck my waters will go on the way to the car....

Charlie if people want to do ivf as they can not conceive isn't that playing god too? Gods is alll powerful and therefore gave us choice. If I had 20k to loose I would do it in a flash

Kell, good for you for sticking up for gd! People should be able to do gender selection / ivf for whatever reasons suits them i believe. Its not like people doing it for gender purposes means less people can do it for fertiility reasons.

AFM, just about sunk in that im pg! Been obsessing over the ph of my urine the last few days. Its as though now i neednt obsess over swaying, something else has taken its place! Anyway ph is heading towards boy zone and although Atomic and other ladies with far more scientific knowledge of mine have told me its a load of rubbish, it almost as if im trying to lessen the fall by believeing in it iykwim?!

Deaks we all have our own coping methods, mine is to completly ignore that it could be a boy, yours to look at ph etc Unfortunatly it's really a case of wait and see! You did a good sway the odds are in your favour in those terms!
Do you think you will find out what your having? Or stay team green?

Maybe Deaks both valid points, so far there's been no comeback from what I've said and tbh I don't think anyone is in a position to judge, especially this person who has one of each sex!

It's snowing again! Looks like we're in for another full night of it.
