Hi can I join in from unsuccessful June attempt? I'm only on cd1. Just want to wish all those waiting to test the very best of luck - hope you all get bfps! Will start at beginning of thread and read through to catch up on things, just wanted to stick my head in and say hello

Mine did the exact same thing!! I was convinced that I had o'd and missed it. But 2 days later I got the actual surge. There was no mistaking ovulating this month. It was super painful!!!

Probably better if it wasn't a surge anyway! You O'd like the next day after your surge, right? If I surged today and O tomorrow that would land me square in the conundrum I am hoping to avoid (O-3 & O+1 attempts). I'd be good with O'ing Sunday, Monday or Tues though Our next planned BD is Sunday! If I surge tomorrow though would late tomorrow night be considered a 2nd attempt? Like around 10 or 11 pm? I usually stay up pretty late thanks to insomnia and I doubt DH would mind a "happy" wake-up around 1'ish so that is an option too. Or do we have to wait until we wake up Sunday at the earliest for it to be considered one attempt, E4D style?

Here is a question... when you get +OPK on a non-medicated cycle do you normally O that quickly? Do you chart? Or do you not know 100% usually? Last time I took clomid I surged for days before O'ing so I don't want to jump the gun, but I also don't want to wait too long and have our only attempt be too far out to do any good. Decisions, decisions, lol.

Sorry to see you here Pbn! But let's hope July is lucky for both of us!

Yay for a faint positive boyboygirl, I hope it is darker today!

Twointow I tend to always want to jump the gun as I'm so sick of waiting but normally an unmistakable positive shows up a few days after my first real surge and I ovulate 24-48 hrs after that. I would stick with Sunday for your attempt.

AFM- just waiting to get closer to my normal O time it could/probably will still be a few weeks so no reason to stress about TTC.

Twointow83, I got a rise in Monday and then my peak on Wednesday at like 11pm. Then I had severe O pains (I always get really bad O pains when I ovulate) Thursday starting at 6pm. I only started temping on cd14 this cycle but I had a definite rise on cd15 & cd16 and then a slight drop on cd17. So, I'm pretty positive that I o'd on cd16. As far as dtd, I personally count 1am on Sunday as Sunday. I try to go by the actual hours (so E4D would be every 96 hours) although I don't think a few hours either way will make a huge difference. What time of day do you normally bd?

Last time was sometime after DH got off work @ 7pm... I think it was like 8 or 9 pm

Then I think dtd at 1am would be a little early. That's almost E3D. It's up to you, really. I'd wait until later on Sunday.

My boobs have been sore the last few days (Clomid side effect I'm sure) but I hope that is another sign O is around the corner!

Ahhh! We dtd this morning (like an hour ago before this +). Do you think we should do it again tonight or wait until tomorrow morning and tomorrow night?
