@ amelia10.....I pretty much sailed through all of my previous pregnancies and I've had 5 boys, no girls. I'm not sure whether you can put much stock in that but just wanted to add my experiences to your question!
Thankfully I've never had any morning sickness or any cravings...which is pretty weird really!

I wanted to mention something about being ill while pregnant. It is not the hcg that makes you feel that way, it is the estrogen. Usually when estrogen is higher than progesterone, we will notice symptoms and the more hormone there is the worse those symptoms get. That;s why when AF is coming we get "PMS" or similar symptoms to what a women in early pregnancy would get. When AF is coming, progesterone begins to drop and eventually drops lower than estrogen. When there's pregnancy, estrogen begins to build back up
An accumulation of estrogen happens in the body if your body doesn't break it down and excrete it quickly. That's why in many cases, it takes a few weeks before MS kicks in. It is very tough on the liver to process so many hormones at once (you have loads of hcg, progesterone, estrogen and others).
Drink alot of water and take supplements to aid your liver, like milk thistle. If you've had alot of alcohol in recent times, then it will be a bit worse on your liver.
This is why symptoms are different for each pregnancy, because you are in different health each pregnancy. So if you are not feeling anything (but you did before), you have probably taken better care of yourself as of late or your health has improved since your last pregnancy.
There are other factors of course and everyone is a bit different, but this is an observation I've made throughout the years.hope it helps!

When did you ladies share with your hubbies/partners about your BFP? I was planning to hold off until next week but my progesterone demand has gone up and I'll be late for AF in the next few days and I do wonder if he'll catch on before I could surprise him.... should I give him the test I took this morning?
hmmmm
