I'm not sure on that pic Maybeoneday as it seems that things are protruding further out then you'd expect for a girl but doesn't look classic boy either. I do think from your nub pics that your baby is still possibly a girl. I really hate to give you false hope but I'm not convinced it's a boy. Best of luck and I hope all goes well with your ultrasound. My 20 week one is coming up soon too. 11 more days here. I'm getting excited but trying so hard to prepare myself to possibly hear boy. I've been watching my gorgeous sons whom I have a special bond with each of them and their beautiful individual personalities and I know that I will adore another boy. I originally went into this pregnancy completely ready to love and accept another boy as I thought there was a strong possibility that we would have another son and I will endevour to remember that when I'm at my ultrasound. It is really tricky when the nub pics really strongly suggest girl and get your hopes up and I even though things looked very girl at 15 weeks for me also, it was still early and I could go in and hear boy still. I'm so thrilled though as I've been feeling this baby moving lately and it is so nice! Just love it.

Thanks so much for replying. It doesn't scream boy at me either but don't see how it could be a girl either. I think I will just have to wait. It seems this one was destined to keep me guessing! I guess what the early scan did was prepare me for a boy!
Violet, I am positive yours is a girl, so try and relax. I think I can feel my bub move as well which is such a lovely feeling.
I don't really look pregnant though which is a bit weird at 18 weeks as was huge with both boys! But then they say every pregnancy is different regardless of gender!
I will keep my fingers crossed for your scan but KNOW you will hear girl again. Xx- January 2008,

Sorry HeidiH..
I'm hurting for all of you that have heard opposites so far. I got an inkling of what that might feel like when I had an "it's a girl!" dream the other night. I woke up feeling more than ever desperate to hear girl on Friday.
I hope that we all can find peace and joy no matter what we end up with. Gd is such a difficult roller coaster of emotions. Sending out lots of virtual hugs xoxoxo

i'm not sure either maybe, it could be swollen girl bits, i would go by your proper dates if you were using opk's etc. Scans always move my babies due dates and they are always late, regardless of what they say babies are all different and the measurements vary by mm so even techs can measure the same baby different, if you think your dates are right chances are your more accurate, and i'd say you still have hope (techs can get it wrong even at 20 weeks)

They always move mine as well. I am 5ft 11 and my husband is 6ft 1 so we are never going to have a short baby!! I had my first scan at 6 weeks (bleeding due to a lost twin) and they gave my EDD at August 1st but at my 12 week scan they had moved it to July 27th because of CRL measurement.
In my understanding the first scan you have is always the most accurate so maybe I should stick to that one.....- January 2008,

I agree with Violet. I don't want to give you false hope but I stumbled across a few images of swollen labia on ultrasounds on the Internet last week and I saw a few pics that looked massively boy that then turned out to be girls. I guess this is probably more likely before 20 weeks but I'm really no expert? Hope this could be the case for you.
