New year babies !!TTC Pink in May

Hi all, have been trying to avoid coming on here as I'm so fed up but figured, you know what, you'll all understand so here I am. For some reason I suddenly felt compelled to do more opk testing and strangely it look on Monday like it was possibly positive (even though I already think I had my positive and had a bit of a rubbish attempt). Anyway, today I've started getting signs of AF. Last month this started a week before AF was due and it's a week until AF again so now I'm having guilt free alcohol!!! Just feeling it will never happen and unlike my two pregnancies before I feel panicked, due to my age and my husband putting a time limit on things. Anyway, I know none of you can give me answers but thought I'd share what's been going on. Really need to get a better attempt in next month.

Steph - how's your holiday? Any signs of O?

Rosie huge congrats very pleased for you and very envious hope you get a sticky pink bean.

Looby sorry to hear you are feeling fed up. Remember that O symptoms, AF symptoms and PG symptoms are pretty much the same at this stage so you are still in with a shot. I'm having a good holiday thanks, haven't had a positive OPK yet but they have been getting darker all week. Our last attempt was 2 days ago and I have to admit if the positive comes today I will be really really tempted to go for it again, I don't feel confident with any kind of cutoff. I have only one test left too so hopefully this is it, or hopefully my pee has been too diluted and I got a false negative yesterday. I've been feeling a little guilty about the lack of exercise and holiday eating but have made peace with it and enjoyed it for what it is - holiday eating. If this is what it has taken to ovulate bring it on.

Stephk an eating holiday sounds so lovely!!! Hopefully, you'll get a positive OPK soon. I'm still unsure whether I've missed it or if it's just going to be really late for me. Doesn't help that I've been wanting to drink coffee like crazy and diluting out my urine! I'm going to have to buy more OPK's tomorrow. Waiting for ovulation makes the TWW seem like a piece of cake!

Anyone have fantasies about just eating whatever they want, lifting weights, multiple attempts at dtd and saying forget it all? I don't think I will but it seems really tempting!!! The frustration of waiting to get pregnant is so annoying especially if I missed this month by accident! I'm not sure what I would have done if it was like this getting pregnant with my boys. I guess it's good that I feel like my fertility has tanked.
