I wish i could too but i am trying to save as much leave time for after the baby comes so i enjoy being with the baby plus i am not taking my full maternity leave either, will take half now and half later. If i take all now than i wont have any time off left (for my own sanity) for the next 9 months.

Boom really? Chiropractors can help with the pain? I am going to have to look into it.

Wow Blue, you are strong. I would have thrown in the towel a long time ago. Hang in there

Really Boyz? 😯 I give you kudos for hanging in for that long. I am holding on by a thread with the thought of not being placed 4+ weeks before. I really hope I am placed off work within the next week or so.

I think everyone at work knows I have something up my sleeve with trying to leave earlier because I keep being asked if I am registered somewhere. I already cleaned out my desk and I'm taking all of my personal things just to prevent anyone from snooping or finding something that could get me in trouble[emoji14]
How many weeks off do you gals get off. I usually get placed off work 4 weeks before, + 8 weeks recovery for a csection. Through my employer I also get family leave for baby bonding for a total of 12 weeks (6 paid/6 unpaid). I really can't wait to be off to rest

Bluebooties- im going a week before i am due aswell. I tend to overcook so not really expecting an early delivery. I work 3 nights a week but really want to spend more time at home so leaving at the last minute.

Yogi i get 12 weeks paid mat leave from my employer. The government offers 18weeks paid leave additionally at minimum wage. However ill only be taking the 12 weeks from my employer plus 2 weeks annual leave as my maternity leave is base rate and minus penalties. So i use the government payment to supplement my income. I also feel like the pic 😂 but i love this part of pregnancy (truthfully i love it all even when i cant brush my teeth or feel constantly nauseated) i get alot of groin pain of ive been standing too long and not having enough rest after my night shifts. Ive actually just finished 4 in a row so im feeling it this week.

Mommy - I know getting so excited!! I told DH realistically anywhere from 3-6 weeks left!! And I think baby has dropped - a lot of pressure in the front of my pelvis, especially when baby moves and makes me feel like I have to poop?

Yogi- my EDD is May 21 and last day of school is May 30. I'll work right up until baby is here since my mat leave won't start until then. If baby is late though I'll take all my sick days that week. Hoping baby comes around 38 weeks just for a few extra weeks this summer! I won't go back to work until mid-August.

Hang in there gals our time is almost here. I give you big kudos, two thumbs up, and lots of hugs for hanging in there and working till the last minute. I know of two girls at my work place that left right when they felt contractions.

Wow Boyz!!!! That's amazing 😃 You are truly lucky!! I wish I had a year!! But I'll take what ever is offered. Enjoy your time off with your beautiful baby girl 😍😘 You will get to see so many amazing milestones.
