Well, we had the ultrasound this morning! The ultrasound tech was an OB/GYN, an older gentleman, he really knew his stuff and he went into detail describing everything he saw (made me feel more confident in his gender determination, ha). Looks like a healthy baby! He told us when not to look, and he left the room to print a picture of the nub shot and label it for us. He was so nice about it, I could tell he had done this before a time or two We could hardly wait, we opened the letter as soon as we got home... and it's a GIRL!!! We are so thrilled! I can hardly believe it, I am just in awe and shock... my mother in law keeps saying she won't believe it until she sees the baby, and that makes me a little nervous, but they are pretty accurate at 20 weeks, right? The doc sure seemed confident. I'll post the potty shot here so you can all see it. Thanks to all of you and GD for your support!

Praying4Pink, I love the Aden and Anais swaddles! They are great light swaddles/stroller covers in the summer, especially if you live somewhere hot like we do (we live in Texas). They get softer as you wash them more too

Congrats on your daughter fourth! The u/s looks like a girl to me and at 20 weeks I think you can feel pretty confident. I have heard some great things about the A&A swaddles so I am excited to get them...and yes we live in Florida so I am sure they will come in handy.

Ah yes he does! He still needs to grow! I can vividly remember saying in my dream "He was born at 30 weeks" so I think next week I will be holding my breath until it passes lol.
How was the hospital tour? Do you like it??? I am delivering at the same hospital, I didn't like the nurses at ours, they were so pushy but my OB is known for being the best at c-sections for miles and miles (she also did my last one) so I will have to stick out the pushy nurses!

The hospital tour was great cvd! I am in love with the hospital. I think the nurses will be helpful and encouraging. The have tubs with jacuzzi jets that can be labored in and the feed you immediately after delivery which my old hospital didn't do. I'm pretty excited.

Hey lovelies. Thank you for your kind words. They mean a lot to me.

I want to share this here, because I feel like this is the only place I won't be completely judged...

Over this last 3 days I've managed to find the silver lining in having a baby boy added to our clan. I'm in love with the idea of 3 big strong boys loving their mummy... So it is really strange (at least, I didn't expect it..) to feel a sense of denial. I am fine with it if it's a boy (now) but I cannot get rid of that niggle of doubt that is plaguing me. I keep telling people "they said its a boy" or "apparently it's a boy".. And I can't manage to feel comfortable with saying he or him. I'm going to get my naturopath to confirm for me on Monday. I have to be sure before I go ahead and settle on "him" being a boy.

Am I completely nuts??

Well we're team blue again Healthy active baby though so that's great. I'd sort of resigned myself to it but given how long we did frequent release for and how much weight I lost I am surprised. I don't have a nub shot to show you as they don't seem to print those but the boy bits were pretty obvious.

Thanks. Bizarrely I don't feel too bad at the moment. I've been busy reviewing our boys' names shortlist in my head. X
