Anyone swaying april/may?

I swayed this month, but not full out. I did what I felt I could do and I am in the 2WW now I will start testing on Thursday! I am praying for some girly BFPs this month. Question for everyone: Do you plan to have a 12-13 week sono or early blood serum test done? Do you plan to find out the sex at 18-20 weeks or wait until the birthday? I would love to have an early sono to guess on the nub, and we will definitely try to find out by 18-20 weeks! Good luck to all you girls!!!!!

Glittergirl- i totally agree with what you said. I too could be happy with three boys. I love the two i have so much that surely i would love a third just as much. It is the outside pressures that others put on us to have a girl that makes all of this so hard. Dont get me wrong, a girl is what im dreaming for, but another boy in our family would be great as long as no one remarks about the failure to not have a girl, how unlucky it is etc etc. If other people leave me alone im sure i would be very happy, but i doubt people in the supermarket etc would keep their unwanted opinions to themselves.

Chunkymonkey--lots of luck on your sway! Hope you get your BFP this month! I keep going back and forth about finding out. I may make a guess at the 11 week nub but the more I think about it, since this is my last I want to truly be surprised! i was surprised with ds2 but in my heart I knew he was a boy. this time around I have no feelings either way so maybe being surprised will be fun for me! That way, if it's another boy I will just be amazed!!

YES! I feel the exact same way. I would really love a girl but mostly for my mom! She is dying for me to have a little girl...and my sis will never have kids so it's all on my shoulders! I felt terrible after my third son was born because I had to call and tell her that her third grandbaby boy was here. I could tell she was sad.

Hi girls, sorry I havent been on in a few days! Chunky Monkey~GOOD LUCK!!! Hope you get your BFP!!! Im not positive yet when I O this month! My period ended up coming early so Im not sure if I will O a little earlier or still between the 17th and 21st-ish!

Im sorry you girls feel so much pressure to have a girl. As long as you guys are happy with another boy, that is all that matters! As for myself, Im swaying for me and my DH!! We both desperately want to experience having a little girl and a daddys girl, and all the frilly dresses and cute shoes that go along with it! Lol Thankfully, we really dont have any outside pressure! My mom didnt particularly want us to have anymore kids for some reason! I dont understand that one, it not like she ever sees them or takes care of them or something! Heck she lives in SC!! The only other person we hear about having a baby from, is my FIL, but he wants more boys to carry on the family name! Lol

As for me finding out the sex, I prefer to find out at my 18-20 week sono!! With DS2, we had a peek at about 14 weeks, and it looked girly so that really got our hopes up!! That is probably why I cried at my 19 wk sono, when they told us it was a boy!! I dont really want an early peek, just in case that happens to me again! And I cant be surprised, because I love to shop for the baby!! I dont want to buy unisex, I want to be able to buy all boy or all girly stuff! Praying for all girly stuff this time!!!

Haha I know what you mean about daddy's girl! I think that's why Dh wants a girl! the boys are all about me! They love to play rough and tumble with him and they love playing ball in the yard and that kind of stuff--but when it comes down to it--they are mammas boys LOL!

Morning girls! I think i have ovulated so the long 2ww begins! I think i o a day earlier than i expected. I think i ov day 16, whereas normally my cycle is ov anywhwere between day 17 and 22. I think i had a one day cut off. The cut off isnt as long as perhaps i would have liked but i cant change it now and i do soooo what to be pregnant that i feel ok about the cut off. Fingers crossed and pink dust please ladies, i so want it to work this month. We did frequent release/BD (for 8-9 days) with sylk all of the times except our final attempt (as i was thinking maybe the sylk was stopping the sperm if they are already lowered by frequent release-only a thought as im not getting pregnant). Normally i have EWCM but i had none at all so i didnt take sudafed this month. So now i just have to wait and keep wishing.
Good luck to the rest of you with your attempt. Can't wait for us all to be in the 2ww - feeling positive this month now.

Where i live they give a routine scan at 12 weeks so i will definately be trying to get a nub shot from that to guess from, and i think we will find out the sex at the 20 wk scan. My first DS we lived in a different part of the country and they wouldnt tell anyone the babies sex so he was a surprise. DS2 we had moved and we found out that he was a boy at 20 wks. If i finally get pregnant with a third i really think i will have to find out, as if it is a little girl i would so love to start the pink shopping and if its a boy then i can get used to the idea of another boy before he arrives. The only questionning part of my brain says to wait until the birth as i will love so much whichever sex i give birth to and then if its a boy it wont matter. Actually no - decided (lol) i would prefer to find out.
