I've been working out in the morning which is when I'm fasting and I've put on weight
Not sure where I am going wrong. I have a feeling it could be due to not having a proper AF this month so maybe after next month I will start to lose weight. I hope so anyway!!!

Does anyone else find it really, really challenging to work out on an empty stomach? I'm running, which is mostly mental anyway, but I am having suuuuuuuch a hard time if I don't have some blood sugar. The thing is that I need to be running in the morning but I wanted to be skipping breakfast, too. How do y'all make it through exercise if you haven't eaten?

You don't need to run. It should be low intensity. My body fat was 16% but then I was lifting too.

It was almost right on time, 2 days late from my average 26 day cycle and the 2 extra days were in the LP. This last loss was early though, from the size of the TMI tissue that came out I'd say the baby had actually stopped developing before about 6.5 weeks when my bleeding started.

My first loss was later and missed, but I let things happen naturally, no D&C. Baby passed around week 8, didn't lose it until week 11 and my period was on time that cycle but with a late O and shorter LP.
My guess is how long it takes before you get your first AF depends on how high your hormone levels were when you actually MC. So an early loss or one that took forever like mine were equated to lower levels where as a D&C right away would probably take longer because levels are higher.

I always do my exercise in the AM after a glass of water and a cinnamon tablet, but if I find myself hungry right when I wake up, I'll mix fiber powder into the water, helps me push off breakfast..course as I said that's what I've done the last 2 weeks, empty stomach, cinnamon 60+ minutes spinng 5 days a week, haven't lost anything lol I'm off the diet though, I was concerned it may have contributed to my miscarriage, I've just been skipping breakfast, leaving lunch vegetarian and having a smaller meal at dinner, so my protein is still in limit and calories, but I'm not going low nutrient.

I haven't really gotten my appetite back yet Def not enough for the he diet.
My bleeding didn't start till 12 weeks but there was only a sac on the scan measuring 6 weeks. I waited a week and after my scan on Fri they gave me some tablets to help with what's left (the sac W's gone) but nothing has happened. My bleeding has basically stopped.Mummy to

Kelissi - glad to see you back! I've found I prefer to work out on an empty stomach (I missed my morning work out one day and worked out after lunch instead and felt like I was going to throw up the entire time!). A few suggestions that work for me:
-I do drink coffee with 1 tbsp of creamer first. Maybe that helps me? Not sure if that makes a huge difference.
-I was doing the c25k (like I believe you are) for my first month of working out but once I completed it, I found it to be bringing out my martha tendencies WAY too much. I was obsessed with running further and further distances and completing the 10k program, etc. I had to quit because I could tell it was mentally affecting me. I switched to just running intervals without really timing them. I run/sprint for a few minutes (until I feel very fatigued) then switch to walking until I catch my breath and just repeat it for an hour. I'm always dripping in sweat, always extremely tired afterwards and I can tell it's a good workout. Since I switched to running this way I've lost tons more weight. The month I was doing c25k I lost 3 lbs, while in the last month I've lost 8 lbs. Also I can adjust my workout more when I feel weak or low blood sugar, etc. If I'm having a low blood sugar day I spend more time walking and less running without feeling locked into a "program" I have to do.
- I try to eat a fairly good sized dinner most nights. Since I run at 5:30 AM, I find having a decent dinner really helps. The nights I eat hardly any dinner (because I'm not hungry or whatever) I find my morning runs don't go as well.
- I did push myself too far once (increased mileage way too quickly) and ended up with crazy low blood sugar and an ocular migraine (couldn't see, eek). I ate 25 gummy bears after the run and felt better after 20 minutes, but it was quite scary! Since then I've made sure to push myself hard so I'm short of breath, sweaty, etc, but not so far that I'm hurting myself!
There's definitely nothing wrong with switching to working out after eating if that works better for you!
