May 2018 TTC & 2ww thread

I just did this wondfo & a CB advanced & a regular CB with FMU - which is totally crazy I know, but my follicle ultrasound the other day has me really stressed out that I'm going to miss O.

Would you count this wondfo as positive or negative? The regular CB was negative and advanced was flashing. Maybe I'll get a + later today? But then I don't know if we should BD today or tomorrow... we normally BD on day of solid smiley on the advanced.

ABC I am not as experienced as some women here but for me that would be positive.

Oh and for me that would be an almost positive, like maybe 12-36 hours before positive, so I can see why its flashing.

Very close to positive. Can you take another wondfo too (lol)? That's probably what I would Do. I am interested to see what the more experienced people reply.

Abc that does look pos to me but only just... Given your history of oing 2-4 days after pos opk I'd probably wait until at least tomorrow morning before having an attempt, if not tomorrow night. I'm assuming you'll get your pos on the digi's tomorrow.....

Ok. My recent history... with OPKs and Clomid... is that I should get a +OPK (including the advanced) on CD13 or CD14 on O on CD15. I'm CD13 today. So I should still be ok. But that follicle ultrasound has me all stressed out - I guess that's the downside of getting those done (but this doc requires them w/ Clomid). On Friday morning I had a 17 mm and a 20 mm follicle and nurse said I should definitely get a positive this weekend. She seemed surprised that I hadn't already as of Friday. But I think my body's tendency is too grow bigger than average follicles before they ovulate. The last follicle ultrasound I had in November (on CD13), I had a 25 mm and 27 mm follicle and I hadn't O'd yet. But dang after two full days since that ultrasound those follies have to be pretty big now!!

It can go either way. Both eggs could be released, or only one. The reason is that once one egg is ovulated, the hole the egg comes from starts making a hormone that prevents the ovulation of other eggs. But it depends on the timeline - if the second egg is able to ovulate before ovulation is prohibited then you O two eggs. Just depends on how quick the hormone level rises and how close the second egg is to ovulation.

Atomic - yea, the nurse said I'd probably ovulate 2 eggs but I know that may not happen. I'm really not worried about that part as I'm pretty sure I'm growing 2 dominant follicles every Clomid cycle. Nurse actually said they like to see that.

She did bring up the issue of the trigger shot but said on Friday I should hold off at that point, but are you saying I should call tomorrow and ask for it? If I'm not pregnant this cycle and they do this ultrasound next cycle I'm def going for the trigger shot! No more guesswork!

I did another wondfo with a less than 2 hour hold and very diluted urine (thank you, morning coffee!) & it's still VERY close to positive!! So this afternoon's digital has got to be positive yea? Atomic if so do you think we should attempt tonight?
