Thanks Mocha. It has not sunk in yet. Maybe if I get some symptoms it will.

Yes Peony you must write your attempt down in the sway forum, would love to read it through. Have you got any symptoms yet?

  6. #266
Thank you! KD, I was thinking I should post my sway but will wait until I am at least past when AF is due I think.

I'll see if I can do a short version...I am already struggling to remember a few things as I had moved on to planning my next attempt in my mind.

Ended up with a 3 day cut off. (Did not plan this but I O very late). I have to ask DH how many times he released leading up to our attempts. He still doesn't know about the BFP, so I'll ask him on Saturday. In January he had been releasing every second day just to keep sperm as healthy and fresh as possible. I doubt he would have done it as often in Feb as he was not drinking any alcohol and was very busy at work. We did 2 attempts. CD14 (PM). I just fell asleep afterwards. And CD15 (AM). I stayed in bed for 20mins afterwards, just lying there praying. I had been an emotional wreck on CD14 as I didn't know what was going on with my cycle (no +OPK) and was very teary which was unusual for me. I did not use anything. No rephresh, no sylk. Just decided to leave it up to my body. I had barely any EWCM all cycle. My pH was always around 4.4 when I used to test it but I haven't been checking for a while. My temp spiked high on CD19, so FF says I O on CD18 (latest ever- it was my earliest ever in Jan- crazy cycles!) I had been on the a-gender diet since the 1st of Jan. They don't say to cut out meat, but I had. No alcohol, no chocolate. I pretty much ate the opposite of what I normally do. Made things from scratch and did not snack between meals on junk like I normally do. I lost about 3.5kg (7lbs), so I weighed 53kg. I would have been a similar weight when I conceived my boys though.
I O in a new moon phase but was also hoping to O in a girl moon. But it looks like it was a boy moon. I have a feeling it is another boy already, but it is not bothering me. I think I was just really ready to be pg. I will be 35 in April.
Did not get any pg symptoms in the 2WW. Ended up testing at the end of the day at 10DPO and discovered I had a really dark line. Was not expecting it one little bit. Sorry, not as short as I had planned. I was always good at uni assignments...I am good at crapping on!

Lala, today (11DPO), my boobs are a bit tender. But I used to get that before AF anyway. I also used to get spotting from 9 or 10DPO, and I have not had any. My naturopath put me on vitex and vit B6 to help the spotting and sore boobs. This was my second month taking vit B6, but I had been on the vitex since October 2011. It had not stopped the spotting on its own, so she'd said to include B6 as well.
I forgot to mention what I was taking. The above, plus a multivitamin with folic acid, and fish oil capsules. And a zinc tablet at night. Not the recommended girl things mostly, but good for a healthy egg, mum and bub!

I have been a bit distracted everyone else. I will reply to posts later. Just to let you know that last night I got a BFP! Haven't even told DH yet as he is away. I think I might take him out to dinner on Saturday night and tell him. He is normally a big drinker and in February he didn't drink to raise money for a good cause. I will tell him that must be why his swimmers finally worked!

Lassie, it sounds like you O on CD15 from what you have described.

Thanks sweetsister and HappyLea. Sweetsister, that clomid does sound like it causes some horrible symptoms for some women. Was it Hope that said she found it better to take it at night? I know nothing about solar flares. How interesting. FX the clomid will do its trick for you and the others this month and then you will soon forget about how horrible it is.

HappyLea, the doctor will probably say my EDD is 15th of November, based on LMP. I say it is the 18th because I know my O date. What is yours?
