I am so sad to see all those places destroyed by the hurricane. A lot of history is gone along with many peoples homes. Just so so sad.

I just can't seem to stop thinking about it. I've spent my whole life living in Massachusetts and have family that live on Long Island. I go to NY a few times a year and have vacationed in Seaside Heights, NJ. The first rollercoaster I ever went on is now in the Atlantic Ocean!!! I planned on taking my kids there next year. I know they'll rebuild, but they'll never get back what was. Every time I turn on the tv, more people have died. It's hard for me to think about how lucky we were to not have that much damage when our neighbors are suffering. And I'm sad that the kids in these areas won't be trick or treating tonight. We're still having nasty wind blown rain come all of a sudden from this terrible storm. And I feel like the people of NY have dealt with enough to last a lifetime after September 11th. Why did this have to happen to them now!!!! It's just not fair!!!!

I just switched doctors. Like, 5 minutes ago.
DH is in the medical field, so we have several friends who are OB nurses. I asked them for info on my doc, and they said he doesn't deliver. As in, whoever is on call will deliver your baby, because he won't show up.
So... it just so happens that my FIRST choice of docs, who wasn't taking new patients when my old (fantastic) doc retired, started accepting again this week. I am so relieved! And maybe this means I will get an NT scan after all.

Hi guys, I know I don't belong here but I wanted to say thanks for all of the nice words being said in regards to hurricane sandy. I live about a half hour from Atlantic city and am devastated by what has become of our yearly vacation spot. Our particular area was hit hard but not near as bad as our shores. It sad to know that some many people are still suffering with power out and Or dealing with damages. Just wanted to comment that your thoughts and comments mean a lot. And must I add I feel lucky to have made it through, it was pretty scary! Thanks!
Oh and sadly no trick or treating for us... Booooo

Ladies my friend just had a baby girl a week ago and is posting pic after pic...I'm getting depressed. Now I've gone on to thinking what if I didn't sway at all, would I be having a girl instead?
