No fish the baby won't get a gift when she is born. Here we do everything before the baby is born but. No worries I'm a bit OCD so I have already put that round of gifts away. Yes there's more, lol. The people who didn't make it to the shower are giving me gifts also so it is all very exciting!

I went for my second 3D/4D session and despite all the challenges...terrible weather, tech running super late, equipment acting up...baby Joelle is adorable and a whopping 4 lbs 13 oz! Pictures to follow!

Praying4pink - your shower looks LOVELY. You and Joelle are lucky girls
Hope you had fun! And glad she is doing so well, can't wait to see your ultrasound pics!!!!
We are definitely really lucky DH can take the 5 weeks off, his work was so good about it. It's called parental leave here so he gets partial pay through the government which is nice. He could take more time but the partial pay isn't enough lol. With recovering from the c-section, a newborn and a 2 year old - I will need him!!!!
Can't believe my countdown has made it to the "teens"... NINETEEN DAYS wow!June 21 2011 - Ryder

Our family is now complete - no more babies for us. We didn't get our girl but I wouldn't trade my boys for the world, so in love.

Nineteen days! Yikes...that makes me want to run upstairs and start sorting baby clothes! If Hudson will be here in 19 days, Maggie won't be too far behind him and I've got so much to do! I'm so excited for you, CVD. It's been a bit quiet in here but, 19 days from now, the board will be full of the word *stalking* or *waiting for news on Hudson*....we'll all be glued to our screens waiting for news of his safe arrival. Of course, you may need a few days to recover before you update us all!

LOL Jadis I feel the same way. I actually have to buy some Dreft so that I can start washing all of my newborn and 0-3 month clothes. AHHHHH! You have 47 days left and I have 48. I did a "Guess Joelle's Birthday Card" at the baby shower so I am very interested to see who guessed right. Mostly, everyone I know is saying I am going to have her a week or two early. We shall see. What do you have left to do Jadis? I have quite a bit to do also.

cvd thanks so much! The shower was fun and considering we buried my husband's uncle only an hour and a half before the shower I think it went pretty well overall. A lot of people showed up...maybe about 45 or so. We had lots of food and games.
Wow 19 days! My coworker's last day was today and she will be delivering her second son on Tuesday. I'm so excited for her. Totally excited for you too! My DH is a school teacher so he will have the whole summer off with me and the baby. That is why I love having babies in the summer. If I am not mistaken he will be off for about 8 or 9 weeks with me. It is definitely a blessing.

i have 53 days (plus as i always go over) feels like forever, although i am getting itchy feet to get in the loft and sort of the stuff whilst i can still fit in the hole especially as the spd is getting worse but then again don't want to spend the next two months falling over it all
