Yes!!! Nerves haven't even set in yet, I thought they would by now.
I had my very last prenatal appt this morning before surgery! All looked well except my blood pressure was a bit high, my ob is going away this weekend so she told me to really relax, no stress till surgery! Which is tough as we are going through MONSTER-IN-LAW drama!!!!!! My MIL is mad at us because my parents are taking Ryder for 2 days so Jared can stay with me at the hospital. She thinks that's incredibly wrong and neglectful. It's only 2 days..... We've left Ryder for a week before when we went to Mexico??? He will be fine. And he will still be seeing us through those days! She's also upset DH is taking 5 weeks off. She feels that after my c-section I should pretty much be able to walk out of the hospital. She doesn't seem to realize its major surgery (she has even had a csection too!!) Anyway. I'm trying to forget it, ignore her.. I'm not her daughter and although she is entitled to an opinion, being "mad" and yelling at us doesn't affect our decision of how we have planned to do things, just really makes her look silly and things really uncomfortable.
Phew rant over. LOL. So for the long one! She drives me up the wall.June 21 2011 - Ryder

Our family is now complete - no more babies for us. We didn't get our girl but I wouldn't trade my boys for the world, so in love.

wow, CVD-your MIL needs to take a deep breath and a big step back. This is yourfamily and how you and Jared plan to manage a csection and a new baby is none of her business! I swear I'll never be that kind of Mother-in-law! I'd never want my daughter in law to feel the way you do, I'd want her to know that I support her and that's that. She really needs to simmer down.

Cvd that's crazy! I am leaving my son with my mom while I am in the hospital. I don't think it is neglectful at all. I mean it doesn't mean you love Ryder any less you just need time to recover and your husband is a big part of that process also. Heck everyone I know for the most part leaves their other children with someone while they are delivering. Not all bit most. Sorry about the drama dear :-(

Cvd-sorry to hear that your MIL is giving you a hard time. Try to ignore her. You are lucky to have your DH home for 5 weeks. Maybe she is jealous that your parents are keeping Ryder while you are in the hospital.
