Looking at the picture again... I think it could totally go either way to be honest. Its a very dark picture which doesnt help.... Hope you hear BLUE.

Thanks......the more i think about it the more i think girl. But its a completely different looking nub to that of my 2nd DD; hers was 100% girl at the same gestation.
Any way only time will tell & I'm happy with either. Healthy is far more important.

True, my dd was ALL girl, no doubt at 13 weeks. I do have a shot of this current pregnancy from my nuchal scan that looks similar to your first picture. Its also kind of dark and you can only catch a glimpse of the nub, but it looks really similar. He is definitely a boy (I am 27 weeks now). I just wish your picture was a bit clearer. I hate getting peoples hopes up

Thanks for your input. I don't want to get my hopes up either cos I was sure that my 2nd was a boy (unaware of the nub theory, lol). I'm not sure if I could lighten the pic, but I'll give it a go....

This is what I see.... See the top blob where the green line is pointing and then underneath the blue line there is another section of blob? I had this on mine and he is all boy! My girls however had two vertical lines stacked on top of each other no blobby bits like this

i agree with nini, how far were you when taken? at 12 weeks nubs can still rise? but if it was taken 13 weeks or further i would say girl

    Queenb_86; I was 12weeks 2days by measurements & 12weeks 5days by LMP.

Yes I see! They do look very similar.....To me it does look like a little penis & it has done since I came across the nub theory....My DD's nub was perfectly straight with two perfectly visible lines parrallel to each other, if that makes sense?

But in saying that who knows???? Trying not to get my hopes up as I thought my 2nd DD was a boy & had some gender depression with her. But this time, I don't care, I just want a healthy baby.
