So I heard back from my doctor. she said that my pregnancy hormone test was negative.
The ultrasound appearance yesterday was certainly consistent with early pregnancy, so I think this probably points to you having an early miscarriage. Bleeding is to be expected as your body passes this pregnancy tissue. Remember that if you are soaking a pad an hour and that goes on for more than 3 hours in a row, we need to hear from you to assess for anemia. I would like to see you in the office next week just to check that you have passed the tissue we saw on ultrasound yesterday. Let me know if we can do anything for you. You do not need to have your blood drawn again as the hormone was already negative.
other updates: still have some cramping. Lower back pain and pressure on vagina. I am still bleeding, but a little less than this morning..still a bit clotty.

So sorry again...I had terrible cramping only for about a day, HUGE clots for about 2 days, and then just light bleeding for about 2 1/2 weeks. So sorry you had to go through this...

So sorry to hear Wishing4Princess!
I had cramping, heavy bleeding and passing some clots for 2 days then bleeding for about a week. Apparently you can expect your 'normal' cycle to resume within 4-6 weeks...I'm still waiting for my first AF post-miscarriage. My MC was about 10 days ago now.
My obs recommended we wait until after the first 'normal' AF to make sure the hormone levels had a chance to return to pre-pregnancy levels.
I have been incredibly sad and have difficulty concentrating on anything...it seems to come in waves! Sometimes you just need to allow yourself to grieve and that's ok.

Wishing, I am so sorry to hear your news. I've been through this so many times, and it does get easier to live with as time passes. But it is totally normal to feel so much sadness for such a long time.
If it's an early loss like yours, and you didn't need a D&E, I personally don't think there's any reason to wait to TTC--you could ovulate within a couple of weeks, and get pregnant again right away.
hugs to you.

So sorry to hear that you girls are going through this. I also had a very early miscarriage or chemical pregnancy in Oct and it was so hurtful. It's totally normal to feel numb and sad and struggle to see any positives in live. That's what I went through. I tried the following month and got pregnant with this babe right away. Take care of yourselves and I'm sending you healing vibes.
