Adia, I even read that D&C does sway girl. that could be the case for you? the 2 friends I was talking about now have girls, 1 year after their m/c and D&C...maybe I should ask for a D&C? jk...really I don't want to put my body through that, physically and emotionally, if there's no need too.

I have had several doctors tell me I don't "look' like I could have PCOS either, but I do, I hate to tell them that we aren't made in molds that make us all exactly the same.

My thyroid seems to be off too. I told my chiropractor and she gave me some vitamins and minerals to help, but my hair still seems to be falling out faster than it should. I have had military medical doctors and they don't care for the most part so long as you aren't way out of the range of normal. I could be scraping the bottom of the normal range of thyroid and if its still within the 'normal' range, they ignore it. I see a civilian doctor on Monday so I am going to ask for more testing too.

I think a plain thyroid test should tell you about your thyroid and they are some basic PCOS tests too, its just a matter of getting a doctor to listen and cooperate.
There is a form of thyroid dysfunction called Hashimoto's Disease that often appears along with PCOS. You can have Hashimoto's without PCOS and PCOS without Hashimoto's, but for some reason they do often appear together.

It was so surreal to get a BFP after my first attempt. I kind of knew something was off. I had typical symptoms for the first few weeks and then a sharp drop off. When I started bleeding on Monday I had a bad feeling. But walking around thinking everything was ok when it wasn't was no good, now I know and I can move on. I do know the drill for swaying, just have to get back to it.

I am going to do a much more Gender Dreaming HE sway this time, not eliminating healthy foods that I love, like Oats because A-gender recommended it. The diet last time was the pits until I switched it to be more HE.
I felt exactly the same. my symptoms were there for a short while..suddenly I didn't feel pregnant any more. I even had a 'drop'' in my stomach. it was higher and bloated first 2 wks. then next week I saw a dent and looked like flat tire..if that makes sense.

I will see my OB next week to see if the tissue she had seen in the u/s is gone..and asking for more tests to be done. hopefully, we'll be ok to ttc soon!! . GL w/ everything!

    Hi ladies,

I am going through my first miscarriage as well. I was just over 4 weeks. My doctor checked my thyroid and it was "normal".

I have reached a point where I am no longer looking for a reason that this happened and now think that it is just "one of those (awful) things". I know I am going to be so nervous trying again but at the same time I am looking forward to being pregnant again.

My doctor suggested that I wait one cycle before trying again and it seems like Atomic agrees with that approach as well (for TTC boy). I also think this is the amount of time I need emotionally before starting again.

    All the best to everyone.

I am so sorry for your loss. We went through a mc this August, I was date wise 18 weeks, but the baby died around 16 weeks. I had a d&e August 9th.

For what it's worth, we did all the testing and only one thing came back abnormal and my ob said that still may not have been the cause. It's hard not knowing why, and you can drive yourself crazy going over every detail/day/choice you made. Hang in there.

I didn't know about d&c and d&e swaying, but I guess it's too late! Give yourself time, ask for testing if you want it, and I hope you will have better news soon.

Oh ladies....I'm so sorry for your loss (Adia, Wishingforprincess and Cass),

I've only just had a miscarriage and am going through the high/low swings daily still (MC was almost 2 weeks ago now). The first few days post MC I was just kind-of numb and seemed to be coping ok then when the bleeding began to ease off, my hormones levels dropped and I just didn't feel pregnant anymore. Then it all sort of hit me! I seem to have alternating good/bad days atm hoping to even out soon....

I bought a personalised sway plan earlier this week so that I'll have something concrete to focus on and am hoping to TTC again as soon as possible after mid-Jan. This will all depend on what Atomic recommends about timing though... My Dr has given me the ok after my first cycle due to medical reasons. I kind-of wish I could start trying again now because I feel like I have to keep living through the loss atm and can't move on yet.

Thinking of you all and hoping we all have healthy little beans soon
