Yes...I think by the blood glucose. yes alcohol affects hormones but in a way a flea on a giant hairy gorilla's back would. Theres gonna be MORE estrogen if you have LOTS of testosterone, so the goal is to decrease the testosterone to ensure less estrogen, is the way I thnk of it. Am I thinking of this properly?

I need an essay on "vices" and swaying (it's on my to do list which has now reached Santa-length proportions and so who knows when I'll get to it) but just real quickly, I think that the general principle of declining maternal/paternal condition outweighs the "may raise estrogen" concerns when it comes to things like booze and smokes LOL

I have *abandoned* the high estrogen theory...and it may be annoying to beat a topic to death (uhh..ME!!) because it dawned on me that perimenopausal women ARE estrogen dominant naturally and statistically hve more daughters so it doesn't add up. The estrogen theory is now in bed with the calcium theory.

thats a good point. Im 36 this year but bet I still get a boy lol and i certainly am not trying when im 45 or anything lol.
Wonder what the boy to girl ratio is for pre menopausal women? I know we hear it a lot but where are the statistics.
Im not convinced the diet will work for me but cutting out red meat may do, as i stated somewhere else, i was starving myself when i got ds1 and 2 but still had a bit of red meat here and there.
My mom hated red meat and she had 4 girls, so maybe i go down that root
what do you all think?Mum to:
:: and
7 is my lucky number sothat we get our
, well as luck had it we had our 7th boy so one last time we may try for that girl when ds7 turns 1, please pray for us

I too had a couple boys while losing weight, eating very poorly. HOWEVER, I do think for women who wish to ttc girl after lotsa boys...you HAVE to cover all the bases. Meaning a SOLID LE diet and focus on that blood sugar and losing weight. Blasting sperm. Getting DH to take the LR. Using acijel/rephresh. TAking the Vitex and saw palmetto/baby aspirin etc. The things we KNOW sway pink and do ALL of them. Being in a place of peace before ttc because you knew you did all you can do.

OKAY stop the wedding!! I went for a brief look on Google and it seems older women do not have more girls...its the paternal age that is the factor.
What gender do I think they will have from being perimenopausal and naturally higher in estrogen in relation to progesterone which declines much more drastically? I can't answer that until I see something that says older women actually DO have more girls. Or something that indicated that higher progesterone=more DDs.
You would have to know the woman. For example...if you have a 40 year old who is naturally kinda wound up tight personality...she ~may~ drink more wine than another 40 year old woman as a coping skill. She ~may~ have more boys the average person. Is the alcohol the thing that is swaying? NO!!

Alternatively, you ~may~ have another 40 year woman who does not regulate her blood sugar very well due to genetics/her hormones/her diet. She drinks alcohol during the ttc time period and pops out a girl. Was this due to the alcohol? ~maybe just a little ~
Why are we all 40 in this scenario, I have no idea.
